I decided to try doing my own gel nails another go after being frightened away from the traumatic experience of removing the polish the first time. I'm so pleased someone mentioned these clips as they remove the polish in about 10-15 minutes after you've filed away the top coat. There is no damage to the nails and its so much less stressful than faffing around with foils! You can do all 10 at once but I've now started doing one hand and then the other while watching TV as its a bit easier and I quite like spending the evening re-doing my nails so I'm in no rush. I've used them a few times now and they feel good quality and the spring presses them tight enough that they thoroughly remove the polish once you've soaked your cotton wool in acetone.

I absolutely loathe taking of gel nails, to the point I hardly get them done. HOWEVER this product has been life changing for this beauty process - so easy, so simple, does exactly what it’s meant to.I wipe down my nails with a regular polish remover & file a little to break down that top coat. Then I pop some of that same polish remover on cotton wool and clip them on my fingers with this product for 15-20m (as I don’t have acetone and cba to purchase any). Doing it one hand at a time means I can faff about on my phone as I wait for my nails to process, and then the gel peels off so easily, with hardly any residue left behind. Liked it so much I got the same for my SIL.

I used to avoid removing my gel varnish and get the salon to do it, I tried to DIY it without these clips and it was a time consuming pain in the butt! These are cheap n cheerful and work really well. Gels off in 5-10 mins no problem.

Tried these for the first time and was very impressed. None were broken and the springs were strong enough to grip on all fingers without falling off. I managed to get my gel polish off a lot easier than without these!

I suppose you get what you pay for. These are so weak they don’t clip on strong enough so they don’t press the cotton wool near the nail. I don’t have this issue with foil and it’s taken me 3 attempts to get my gels off. Thought they’d be easier than wrapping my nails up but clearly not. Don’t waste your money.

I'm still sitting here removing polygel 2 hrs after startung. Using foil now. Yes I filed top coat, used e file to remove top coat and polish but the clips do not have the enough pressure across the whole nail so the polygel is still hard at the tips. Wish me kick on 3rd soak now but with good old trusted tin foil

Only got 8 delivered. Attempted to use them instead of wrapping foils to remove get polish, they're snug on the finger but have quite a lot of holes so the polish remover evaporated in a couple of minutes (defeating the purpose of using these instead of foils). This product would probably work wonders on regular nail polish as it takes a fraction of time to get it off in comparison to gels.It's one of the times where you kinda get what you pay for, I didn't expect much either way as they're barely cost anything.
