Autoor Bluetooth Audio Receiver

Works well. Sound quality does not appear to be affected when streaming Echo / Spotify through the unit in to my Amp. Paired with Echo no problems and with other devices.My only gripe is specific to use case which is that this unit is always looking to pair and connect (a really good feature in other use cases). But, for me, it is a problem. I only want it to pair when I ask Alexa to "connect speaker" as I do not always want Alexa to go through my amp, e.g. when watching TV my amp is on another channel which means I can't use or hear Alexa's responses if it is always connected to the Bluetooth receiver.I have a workaround in place, but out of the box this unit does want to always pair and connect, if this is not what you want you will have to look elsewhere

This works okay most of the time, but it does seem to lose connection on occasion and the fact that after you've disconnected your device the blue light continues to flash as this tries to reconnect soon becomes very annoying and means I have to unplug it after use. On the upside there is no lag, but there might well be better receivers out there for the price.UPDATE: I've knocked a star off as over time this became less reliable and the sound quality was often not very good. Also, the fact this has a long range is a curse as much as a blessing; great if you have one device you want to connect that's a fair distance away, but really irritating otherwise as once you've disconnected from one device it will automatically connect to anything else it's paired with. So, in my case I switch off my laptop only to find that this has connected to my Fire 7" and if that's switched off too this'll keep blinking and making noises as it tries to connect to something, anything, until I pull the power cable out of the back. I have to say, this is the worst AmazonBasics item I've ever used.

This is a great little bluetooth receiver. I have it plugged in to a hi-fi system at work to stream music from my computer and it does a great job with great audio quality.The one criticism I have of this is that it can sometimes be a bit fiddly to connect to. I have multiple devices and sometimes it takes a while to disconnect and connect another. Not a massive problem but something to be wary of if you want to connect more than one device to the receiver.

Great little box. I purchased this to replace a very cheap and poor quality sounding BT adapter connected to our amp and speakers. It was very easy to connect and came with a useful audio cable. This one sounds great and as no noise in the quiet parts, unlike the one it replaces. Quickly paired to Alexa using the app. The power supply is designed to fit only this bluetooth box, unlike others that fit a micro USB phone charger which hopefully won't be a problem in the future.

I was considering buying a new, Bluetooth enabled amplifier, but as my current one is only 3 years old I thought I'd gamble £22 and I'm glad I did. As the name suggests it looks a bit basic and plasticy, but don't let that put you off, as it works brilliantly. It pretty much plug and play apart from pressing a button to pair devices, but this worked first time. I had read a lot of reviews before purchasing and one reviewer had said that the volume was rather low, but in my case the opposite is true, it is loud and clear. I use it to stream from my iPad and PC and I'm amazed by the quality of sound; I was fully expecting a noticeable reduction in quality, but it is crystal clear. One advantage this model has over its competitors is that it has a mains plug rather than being battery operated; I use a plug in remote controlled switch, so I can turn both the amp and the Bluetooth off when not in use. I'm very pleased - one of my better purchases.

This is a really excellent product that does exactly what it was purchased to do; plugs in to various of my devices (Sherwood audio amp, Beosound Century, JVC boomboxes, etc.) and has been in use more or less constantly since I received it.Sound quality is good, even through my B&O Century - which can be intolerant of digital source material. Dynamic range impressed me as I simply hadn't expected the device to be as good and it's well enough built for the price with a pleasant piano black top surface and four non-slip rubber feet on the underside that prevent it from shuffling around in use.If I were asked to mention any slight disadvantages of this device, I should think that the lack of an internal battery may be an issue for some, but I did buy it knowing that it needed an external supply and as such, it's perfect for me.It comes with a 1/8" (3.5mm) stereo output socket and a lead that connects from that socket to a pair of RCA input sockets on devices so equipped, I've also tried it with DIN-standard equipment and the B&O-specific connection on the Century. In all cases the device provides crystal clear audio that has a good stereo image and turns in a performance indistinguishable from that provided when connecting the same devices to my HOX or the laptop by cable.Highly Recommended.

I was concerned when it arrived as the manual said to connect to speakers whereas Amazon's photos implied a connection to an amplifier via supplied jack plugs. (No jack plug sockets on the speakers.) However, I connected it to the amplifier and it works. I am particularly pleased as I was able to update a Rotel amplifier that is at least forty years old. (It is v good and works extemely well.) Now I can play music from a different sources via my amplifier. Sometimes Beethoven needs to be loud!Very easy to set up.

Great little unit, works perfectly, very small and unobtrusive, apart from the blue light at the front, which flashes very annoyingly when there isn't a bluetooth device connected. Simple fix is to switch the device off when not in use. Well made, simple to use, effective. Very satisfied with purchase.
