The package arrived on time as expected and is a large bag, about 15 inches tall. It is not vacuum packed but it is an airtight bag.On opening the bag you get an almost instant hit of the strong smell of coffee. The beans themselves handle easily and grind well, and will leave the room you grind them in with the full bodied smell of proper coffee for at least an hour.As a drink this blend is made up mainly from Robusta beans, so you get a nice strong coffee flavour which is not too bitter but has some pleasing, almost but not quite peppery, accents. This seems to improve further, in my opinion, when the coffee cools slightly.This is a really good cup of everyday, regular drinking coffee. Even though it is listed as 'Strength 5' it is not a coffee that will give you a headache that some other 5's can do.
