Best Handwriting for ages 10-11 Paperback – 5 May 2007

Bought this book for my 11 year old and he finds it very motivating - well pitched for the reluctant neat writer. The other books I bought for daily handwriting practice were rather dry and intimidating but the 'bite-size' feel of this book has speeded up his writing and improved his 'joining-up' markedly in just two weeks of doing one page per day. Don't be put off by the rather babyish cover - its not patronising at all.

Good read. My daughter LOVED this book. Well written and great story. Highly recommended to KS2, tween age and even the grown ups love it too

This book really is good for the older age groups, and suitable for boys and girls (some are not) my 11 year old sat straight down and started working through it!

My 10 year old grandaughter was finding joined up writting a problem. Just did 10 mins a day in the 6 weeks school holiday and she was thrilled when she went to school and the teacher told her what an improvement. So well that she is the first in class to be able to use pen to write with.Happy Granny

Very good, shows how to do different types of writing eg bubble, italic. Definitely for a child that is good with handwriting to begin with

I am a private tutor and I needed a book for a year five boy. The advice is good but I would have liked more practice tasks that I could give him. The book does not look childish which is good but the explanations did not hold my pupils interest.

Fantastic. My daughter had trouble with a,d c,g formation. Only part way through 10 minutes spent per day over half term and her writing has from very difficult to read to easy. Still not perfect but huge improvement.Wish I'd done this with her earlier.

Some good exercises in here, has been helpful for us whilst trying to get our 8 year old son with attention issues to focus more.
