This case is fine on the whole but the zipped part at the front which I put the USB extension for my Sony PJ260 is really too tight and a struggle to zip up once in there but I need to carry the lead with the camera so I don't lose it and can't think what else the pocket could be for. At least the part that clips over a belt or waistband works for women who don't have belt carriers on their clothes. Most of these sorts of items are designed to be threaded through a man's belt and the designers have not realised that women use and carry the same things as men but there is usually nothing to attach to a woman's waistband if she is wearing smart clothes or does not wear a thin belt. This bag clips over a waistband or pocket top but perhaps a belt turning it into a BumBag might be a good idea as some women still wear dresses!

A great case for my handycam - nice double zipper zip means that you can quickly release the camera when you need it.It is a snug fit if you use the large NP-FV70 battery - but it certainly fits, and the original battery on the handycam makes entry and exit of the bag a cinch.So - why four stars? That's because there is a pocket on the front which is basically useless. It is big enough for an SD card or two - but nothing more (need to carry a comb? it will fit). I'd really like to carry a spare battery in the camera bag, rather than in a pocket. Only a small niggle, but if Sony go to the bother of providing a pocket, only another 10mm of material width would have made it useful....

This is a well made, well padded case and therein comes the problem. Dimensions in the product description are 16.5 x 8.6 x 8.6 centimetres. Those are the external dimensions. The pocket where the camera goes are somewhat less 14.5 x 6.0 x 6.0 centimetres. I don't know why this type of advert focuses on external dimensions but for me it meant that I bought a product that was not fit for my purpose.

Great little bag for protecting my camcorder, I do not think of myself as clumsy, but, I dropped or knocked it off a chair etc several times and suffered no damage. I can get a spare battery in it and a spare card along with a cable. The strap was used from my shoulder and conveniently wraps up out of the way so that it can be fixed onto a belt. I usually kept it in a larger haversack and it protected my camcorder from all the other items in there until it was required for use. Made of durable material and easily cleaned, if it was just a little bigger the external pocket it would be perfect and get 5 stars, but I highly recommend it.

Hi this arrived very promptly and does what it says on the plastic bag. It was bought for a Cx 190 and with the bigger NP-FV 100 battery attached it fits perfectly with no movement. Now the slight niggle.Why oh why couldn't the side pocket have been made slightly bigger ??I like to have a spare battery with me, just in case, especially with mini recorders with relatively short battery lives.I like to take some of the leads with me so that mainly, 1) I can recharge the battery, 2) I can review the results of my efforts or share them on a reasonable sized screen.The side pocket is irritatingly "just" too small to take either, yet you could probably fit about 10 spare memory cards in it!!!!Oh if only it were about 5 mm deeper.!!!!!

I have had this for a while now and the fact that it is very universal is great. It fits my Handycam with space which is a slight downside but that is me being a little bit picky. The carry case its self is a bit small, I think if you are going to put this into another bag then that is great but for me I couldn't take it out with me by its self because it looked like I was carrying around a purse. On the upside to what I just put it is true to what it states in the product title it is Ultra compact. Still a very good buy and would highly recommend it.
