Popping!
This is sencha (a green tea) with roasted brown rice. Though it is now widely used, apparently, in Japan this type of tea was considered a poor person's drink, as the rice was traditionally added as a 'filler'. The addition of the rice adds a delicious nutty savouriness to the tea and is no doubt the reason for its popularity these days. The price and quality of genmaicha can vary a lot but in my opinion this tea is good in both categories and is simply just very pleasant to drink. I also like that it has organic certification. Recommended.

Expensive, but a nice treat
This is very good brown rice tea. I drink Genmaicha at a cafe I frequent, and this tea is actually better than theirs.

Good tasting tea
I use this tea with a tiny bit of maca as well, in my loose leaf infuser. There is a few small buits at the bottom, but those come out if you shake the infuser before putting it in the drink

Tasty green tea
I do like my tea and I like to try new varieties. When I opened the packet for of tea I was met with a nice aroma. I then used water at just over 70 degrees C and let the leaves infuse for around two minutes before trying it. It had a really refreshing flavour as I would expect with a green tea and then there was a really nice flavour that tasted very pleasant and a little nutty. This is a nice tea to drink that has a really nice colour, and when I have used the loose leaves they can go straight into the compost bin. This is a very pleasant tea with a nice aroma and taste and very good quality. It is one I would happily recommend.
