Q: Are the stitches all whole stitches? Also how do I know where to use 3 strands versus 2 strands?

From what I can remember, the instructions say to use three strands for the cross stitches and two strands for anything else. Also, I think they are all whole stitches.

Q: How do i know what is 11ct or 14 ct?

Count the number of lines per inch, if I remember correctly. 11 ct is 11 per inch, 14 ct is 14 per inch. I could be wrong though.

Q: Was anyone able to determine where the backstitching should be done? I can't find it in the instructions.

The instruction sheet is generic. This kit does not use backstitching
