Nifty;
This is a smart little tool with a strong white light that is worth the money and suits its purpose. It's simple to clip onto the top of your Kindle or case. I looked firstly at a light which was 50p, and I'd advise that, especially with a gadget like this, you pay for what you get. I wouldn't, however, spend over ten pounds when you can buy something like this model for less. It's super small, with a flexible wire that looks really fragile, but it's sturdy and easy to store. Before it can work, you need to pull the plastic tag out of the head. The only reason I awarded four stars is because the glare sometimes 'shines' over words at the top of the Kindle, so you have to peer at the first sentence. Apart from that, I'd highly recommend this as a good buy and a useful piece of equipment, particularly if you like to read before you go to sleep.

Neat but not best on market
I had a light for my Kindle but the clips on the battery case broke, a common failing with that type of light. The light from e-kit looked better made and had good reviews. It is a very neat unit and because it uses lithium batteries instead of AAAs is smaller and lighter. However the light output can only be described as adequate. The shorter neck means the light intrudes on your vision and the page coverage is uneven. I am going back to the larger style with the longer flexible neck and will have to be gentle with the battery clips.

Good value for money, but not as useful as I'd hoped
This little lamp clips securely onto a Kindle or normal book and casts a focussed light onto the page. The lit area is just about as large as a Kindle or paperback page, though a bit too small for a standard hardback.I had hoped that the breadth of the lamp would give a more diffuse light, but in fact there are still shiny spots and gloomy spots. That said, it is a whole lot better than reading with the bedside light on - and my other half would undoubtedly agree!

Does the job!
I wanted a light to allow me to read my kindle at night when I cant sleep. I didn't want to pay a lot as I wasn't expecting a clip on light to work very well but it does. Needed a bit of jiggling around to get it in just the right place but I have now got it almost perfect! Well worth what I paid for it and would recommend it.

Does exactly what it says on the packet!
A neat solution to the thorny problem of I want to read in bed and he doesn't! This little clip-on light is very light weight. The strong clip attaches easily to my Sony e-Reader and I have even attached it to the back cover of a hardback book if necessary. It sheds a pool of blue-white light onto the print which does not disturb anyone else!

Best buy to light a Kindle
Really excellent product. Given all the critical reviews of alternatives I am glad I chose this. Very light in weight but sturdily made. Fits very securely but unobtrusively. Shines a consistent light of just the right degree of brightness across the whole page with no flickering. Clamp does not obscure any of the page. Looks, works and feels like a high quality design and manufacture but at a very low price. Appears purpose built to work perfectly with any Kindle (even if it wasn't). Best light position is at the top of a Kindle in the middle but the device will attach securely all the way round. Battery included and is one of the miniature ones so it doesn't make the Kindle feel top heavy. Thoroughly recommended! And no I don't work for the company!!

Okay.
It's okay. Clips on well. Does not light the whole screen , only a small part. So I hold it and move it as I'm reading.

I like this light but it slips off my hardback book if I read on my side
This is a good reading light, the silver slider on the top to control the light is silent, the only problem is you have to make sure you point away from your partner as it's quite bright, and I also found that it falls off my hardback book if I read on my side,
