Bought in error but found I absolutely love them
Not knowing much about inks I bought these when I meant to buy watercolour inks. Decided to try them anyway and found they are absolutely brilliant. Their colours and intensity has to be seen to be believed. A little goes a long way so suspect they will last me quite some time. Have also used them when doing some calligraphy. Can't recommend them highly enough.

expensive but good mostly
*nice bright colours and good starter kit *find them a little too expensive *they tend to be fairly waterproof so can be used with watercolors *good for dip pens but some colours are too thick so only good with brushes *good light-fastness *some colors are too similar so no real point to have it *mixed well together to create new hues

Dr Martins Bombay India Ink set
Bought this as part of my course in fashion for fashion illustrations. Though a tad dear than some inks, I worked a treat on my work.. didn't make me a better illustrator, but boosted my confidence in the various media I use. Reccomend this as the Rolls Royce of indian ink. If its good enough for David Downton, its good enough for me.

Arrived promptly and in good condition. These inks are very vibrant but become more subtle with the addition of more water so can be used in a similar way to conventional watercolour paints
