A bit of privacy without blocking light
This gives me jut a bit of privacy without blocking the natural light. I have also used it on a couple inside cabinets with a glass front. Helps hide any clutter while looking high end. This was so easy to use all I did was added a bit of dish soap in a spray bottle filled with warm water and thoroughly wet the glass and sprayed the film. Applied and used a silicone squeegee to remove the water and air bubbles. Very easy to cut and apply. Terrific product!

Less expensive, more convenient, and easier to install alternative to curtains or blinds
This HTVRONT window privacy film provides privacy and installs easily.Pros:- Installs with soap and water. The instructions call for a spray bottle but I use a washcloth dipped in soapy water.- It has surprisingly effective adhesion.- It does not leave any residue behind when removed. This is particularly useful if you don't get it aligned properly on your first try. You can just pull it off and try again.- The film gently filters sunlight without blocking it, which is great to keep rooms sunny and bright.- You can get decent privacy without using curtains or shades. This is great if you have a cat or other pet that chews, claws, or otherwise terrorizes window treatments.Cons:- I had to remove air bubbles after installation. You can use a ruler, credit card, or anything reasonably firm with a straight edge. It would be much easier with a squeegee blade or something like a silicon dough cutter, neither of which I had around. It would be handy if this came with a small tool for this purpose.- It is a little bit hard to cut straight without an additional tool, such as a yard stick, cutting mat, etc. You know how sometimes you buy wrapping paper and there is a grid pattern on the back to help you cut it straight? It would be handy if the backing had something like this.- The film prevents onlookers from seeing details. However, someone can still see indistinct moving shapes if it is dark outside and you have the lights on inside. The film has its benefits, but is not as effective as curtains or blinds.Despite its minor drawbacks, I really like this type of window film.

So Easy
Very easy product to work with. The most important thing to do is measure correctly and use something to achieve a straight line. I followed instructions and it worked perfectly. I put it on glass doors on a bathroom cabinet. So much better than the spray glass frosting.

Junk
It won't stay on windows for more than 10 minutes

See-through at night
Was hoping this would work at night as well, but doesn't. You can see directly through it at night.

Easy to apply & great price!!
I ordered two types of frosted window cling to apply in my kids’ playroom, and this one was the winner! You can still see plenty of light, but it distorts the view.We added it to the bottom 2 windows, so the kids and toys are not on full display to the neighbors. It doesn’t look very different on the outside, other than doing exactly what we needed it to do (even at night)! This one was easiest to apply, and cheaper by far. Make sure to use plenty of water/soap (I used dawn spray because it was easy). And using a razor blade/exacto knife to cut made it work well.I didn’t realize that these don’t come with a sticky backing, so they can be repositioned! Ordering more for another area since I used it all.

Great cheap way to get frosted glass look.
I had to cut into 2 pieces to handle alone so there was a seam in the middle. With two people, would not have had to cut the paper to adhere to window. I needed the glare cut down for my TV and it worked as a dimmer of the sun's light, so that it wasn't direct light hitting the TV, however, not a black out screen.
