Cats adore the scent of this plant but beware they will frequently roll and lay on the plants in the border. The leaves can also be dried to make catnip toys for your pet. Flowers the first year if sown early. Height: 70cm/28in Plant Class: Hardy Perennial (HP). Habit: Bushy, Medium. Sow indoors, January-April, to flower the same year, 0.5cm (¼") deep, in a tray of compost. A temperature of 15-20°C (60-68°F) is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Transplant them 5cm (2") apart, to other trays when large enough to handle. Gradually accustom young plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out into well-drained soil, May-June, 30cm (1') apart, when frosts are over. Or, sow outdoors, April-June, to flower the following year, in a seed bed, 0.5cm (¼") deep, into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Plants grew but not as many as hoped so have re sown. Good point is there are a lot of seeds. Cats love it!

They grow!
They’re seeds and they grow, wouldn’t discourage anyone from buying these. First sprout appeared 5 days after planting and more kept germinating. The plant is thriving still!

Not 250 seeds.
I received a bag with far less than 250 seeds. They may easily been 50-60. None of them sprouted, but that could be for many reasons.

Easy to grow just not many of them
I’m knocking some stars off this as despite planting an entire pack of seeds, I haven’t had much growth at all. I expected more given the amount of seeds in the pack, however have probably about 10 small sprouts appear. I planted them about 6 weeks ago, so all that were likely to grow should have by now. If more had grown then I would give these 5 stars, however despite feeding and watering, I didn’t get much of a result. They are easy enough to grow as they literally just need watering, and can be grown indoors or outside. Just a Shame i didn’t get more plants from my pack.

Give them time :)
I must admit when I first planted the seeds and waited .. and waited .. and waited and weeks went by and … nothing .. I was gutted. But I just left the pot there on the windowsill and watered it anyway every so often and then one day BOOM there was a few little stems one morning!! I was over the moon LOL … and now look at it !! This has taken 3 months to get to this stage so don’t give up on them :)
