Bestway Repair Kit for inflatable airbeds, toys, pools, lilos etc #62022

We camp and our inflatable double bed springs the odd leak over prelonged storage periods. The airbed's supplied small tube of glue was ok for the first two repairs. For £1.64, this product was an ideal replacement and arrived promptly. It's a larger tube than our original and has worked 100% on two repairs so far, one when out and about so was a life saver. I would recommend this product as doing exactly what it is intended for. Make sure and get the glue right to the edges of any round/oval patch (I use a penny as a patch template for small holes) this stops any possibility of lifting corners. After pressing the patch down for 5-10 minutes, leave it as long as you can before reinflating. I waited 6+ hours.

We have a Bestway Lay-z-spa pool which got a puncture and the patches that came with the pool would not give a good enough seal. We purchased this product which consists of a tube of adhesive and a roll of patch which you cut to size. We followed the instructions and it gave a perfect seal to the puncture and our spa is now full functional again. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a similar problem.

Only 4 stars because product was slightly different to picture on Amazon. Pack came with one large, clear patch which can be cut to size, rather than the blue patches shown. However this actually turned out well because the clear patch is far less obvious on my camping mattress than a blue patch would have been. Kit was easy to use and the repair seems to have worked. Would recommend this product.

Quite a good kit! Fixed the leak but the patch was a bit small.

I bought this to patch up an Intex couch that developed a hole a few days after buying it. The couches are a combination of suede and plastic which can make it difficult to mend as it is a seam, and the glue does not adhere well to the suede. However I was pleasantly surprised, after fixing the gap with glue then gluing the plastic strip over it, it has held for the past 3 days with no problem at all! I think it's a good product to hold it so well. It may need doing again but as long as it holds out for the length of our camping trip of a week, I'll be happy.

This is the 2nd time I have used this type of repair patch which is now why I am writing a review much to my annoyance with this product. You cut your patch to size and apply the glue as soon as you do your patch just rolls up, the glue is useless. I have even tried placing one of the peel off sticker patches over it and that doesn't work either. Try shopping around a bike puncture repair kit would probably work better. The item I'm trying to repair is a lay z spa and have yet to find anything that's worthy of my money. Avoid this product!!

After how many years since I last patched an inflatable boat I needed to again. I thought in those intervening years that technology might have improved and now we'd have a patch that moulded to the shape of the item being patched. This is almost the opposite. The plastic arrives rolled up and secured with an elastic band and never again will it lie flat. Look at the picture and you can see it. The result is a patch that is curled at the edges before you even get it stuck down. On the plus side the glue seems to allow for a lot of re-adjustment once applied. Though this is a result of the patch not actually sticking well. Shame. Perhaps recommend spending a little more on a better product.

I used the adhesive from this repair kit to repair two quite bad V shaped tears in the vinyl area of a case that had been damaged in transit. First the flaps were glued back in place with contact adhesive and then the edges were glued with Bestway adhesive. Three layers of glue resulted in a strong and almost invisible repair.

Nach unserer Kindergeburtstagspoolparty hielt ein Relaxschwimmring die Luft nicht mehr. Das Leck war an einer ungünstigen Stelle, nämlich genau dort wo das Netz (Sitznetz zum "nicht Durchrutschen") und der Reifen verschweißt sind. Hier war ein Riss von ca. 5 mm entstanden. Ich hatte wenig Hoffnung, diese Stelle wieder dicht zu bekommen. Aber Versuch macht bekanntlich klug... Set bestellt, Gebrauchsanweisung und Wartezeit eingehalten und der Schwimmring ist dank dem Reparaturset wieder voll einsetzbar. Ich kann das Set nur empfehlen und würde es auch wieder kaufen!

Ho comprato questo prodotto senza conoscerlo. Tappa benissimo ed è molto resistente. Ho utilizzato per riparare il materassino gonfiabile. Semplici da applicare e resistenti.

es funktioniert, aber lieber an einer Anleitung fürs Fahradreparaturset orientieren, weil die Anleitung, scheinbar eine Überstzung ist. Jednefalls ist mein Gästebett wieder dicht.

Funktioniert nicht einfach. Konnte das Loch nicht flicken

Mit 2 Kindern und Pool im Garten hat man natürlich viel aufblasbares Wasser-Spielzeug. Da geht immer irgendwo die Luft aus. Ich habe schon viel probiert - nix hat bisher so richtig funktioniert. Bis auf diese Set - das funktioniert wunderbar. Kleber drauf - zugeschnittenen Flicken drauf - 30 Sekunden mit dem Daumen draufdrücken - fertig. Zur Sicherheit noch ein paar Stunden abwarten - und der Spaß kann weitergehen. Wenn der Kleber leer ist werde ich es auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen. Sehr zu empfehlen!
