Does its job
Fitted correctly, it does what is supposed to do, and it matches my downpipe. All good.Advice - follow the instructions and use a spirit level to get the tube as close to horizontal as you can.

Needs to be sealed after installation.
Easy to install, however the design of the valve could be better, it works fine if it’s only light rainfall, but because the hole that the rainwater diverts into the Water butt is small, if it is heavy rainfall the the water cannot divert quick enough into the water butt and therefore backs up and overflows out of the joint on the Downpipe, I had to fill the top of the joint with mastic to prevent this from happening.

Drain pipe - water butt connector
Works well . Only niggle was called for a 26mm hole , but all drill bits I could see were 25 mm. Ok as used a rasp to enlarge hole. Solid when in place.

Pipe too short
Hubby had to buy some more pipe as it wasn't as long as it stated in the instructions. Disappointing concidering how much it cost.
