Really excellent item. Lights have a switch on the side for either "on" or "auto" for use of the PIR. I've placed one in an understairs cupboard and one in the roof of our porch as a font door light, both locations using the sensor which has good range and the light is bright enough for use, similar to a normal 60W lightbulb. They also have a light sensor and so don't come on during the day when it's already light.The adhesive on the back sticks very well to any surface, (wall and gloss painted wood in my case but it's very sticky), holding the light securely in place upside down or when mounted on a verticle wall. The adhesive strip is magnetic and so the light is then easy to pull off for charging, leaving the sticky pad in place, neither of the locations I have them in are accessible for a plug or electric without rewiring, hence their use.Both been in place for almost three weeks now and still going, I don't expect them to need charging regularly.Lights come with two USB cables but no plug. Can either be charged from a PC or if like me you have a million plugs from phone chargers around the house, you can use that (or indeed the usb phone/tablet charger itself).They'd probably work under kitchen cabinets too to save on wiring up a kitchen without appropriate wiring.

Purchased 4 of them , warm white, sofar so good , all seem to work well and will update after i have tested them more.one of the usb cables was faulty so that has been thrown away but that's not a fault on the unit so no points deducted.I need to test if they are 5hr on a full charge, will update with results later.

Great although would be better if you could turn them off completely instead of just auto and on, come with charger they are good for the price and would by again just 1 of mine is a tad faulty and doesn't always work but thanks

Excellent LED light for our wardrobes. The pir sensor works a dream. The units themselves look stylish and the light output is sufficient, how did we manage before !Only 4 stars as charging cable missing from first box so had to order another box for charge cableUpdate: these were great but two of my four units have stopped working on the PIR sensor on day two. Not good... Awaiting some contact to get these replaced, let's see how good customer service is.

I purchased these lights to illuminate some larder shelves which are in a dark cupboard and they work very well. Being magnetic they just stick on to the underside of the steel shelving and come on when you open the cupboard door and start to go inside. No wiring up of mains power or fitting switches. Job done in seconds. Not sure how long they will last before they need recharging but they been going for weeks now. Modern technology making life just that little bit easier. 5 stars.

One works very well. The other flashes annoyingly when trying to charge and has never worked. Shame because these are well made. Update - the one that was working no longer works, don't waste your money

Fed up of harsh ceiling spotlights ruining the ambiance when attempting to have a relaxing bath and being half-blinded upon visiting the bathroom at night, these lights (which I simply stuck under my bathroom cabinets) have killed two birds with one stone.The 'on' function allows me to bathe in soft yellow light and 'auto' gently lights up the bathroom in the wee (sorry) hours without needing to turn on the main lights.The fact that they are easily recharged via a USB cable makes them all the better.Highly recommended.

its everything it says it is how ever - will have to run its corse to see how long the batteries last..
