Verbatim BD-R XL 100 GB - Blu-ray Disc with 4x Write Speed, Printable, Jewel Case, 5-Pack

I had the same experience as other recent reviewers: All 5 discs were faulty.I contacted Verbatim, and they sent out a replacement box. However, the first of the replacement discs was also a dud. It was only the second one that worked. I complained to Verbatim again, and now they've gone silent on me.So the final tally is 10 discs total, 6 duds, 1 known good, and 3 I haven't tried yet. £45 spent and several hours wasted. The only thing these discs are good for is hanging up as (expensive) decorations.For the technically inclined, the faults seem to affect an entire disc layer. I've found that either the first 33GB or first 67GB of data is readable (so one or two layers' worth).

The first bluray bdxl I opened there was warping / peeling on the surface and it wouldn’t read, several of the disks failed writing, they are poor quality and for the money I am very unhappy

EDIT: I had a terrible initial experience with these discs - all 5 in the pack returned multiple verification errors. They weren't writing properly. As I had a new Verbatim drive, I emailed Verbatim support thinking it was the drive. They sent me a new pack of 5 discs to check it wasn't a bunch of bad discs... and they're all perfect.So... the original experience wasn't great, but Verbatim customer support was fantastic. They're too expensive to get so many duds, and it's good that there's a guarantee of quality.

I bought this 5 disks package several times and always was one or two discs bad. I waited the moment when all discs in the package will be good. Opposite happened and in last package all was bad (unwritable). To be sure is not my writer, I wrote a disc from a package bought earlier what happened to be good. Is not my writer for sure, these are bad quality discs. They are garbage. All 5 discs went to bin.

Good quality product but so expensive. M.2 is cheaper per GB and more convenient.

They were worth, good quality for the money..very well product!
