Duux Air Humidifier and Night Light

Very quiet! However, impractical design as the 'mist' outlet is in the middle section rather than the top. Doesn't last all long (haven't tried the 30sec interval setting) and annoyingly have to lift off the top half of the globe in order to refill. This is very difficult in the night and in the dark as you have to then find the 'maximum' filling line! I bought this for my baby's nursery as she suffered from a bad cold and I wanted a humidifier that I could add olbas oil to. Don't knw what other humidifiers are like in comparison but be warned you will need your torch function on your phone in the middle of the night!!!!!

It improves the humidity of the room. The steam produced is reasonably strong. However my other osim humidifier steam is stronger.

Works well when it works, but seems to break easily. We had ours for just 4 weeks when it stopped working due to rust. Amazon replaced and will see how long this one lasts. Would buy if reliability issue is just a one off.

Having received this item I am now returning it less than 24 hours later. I would not recommend this item to anyone. I bought it for the purpose of using it in my room for my baby, however even if you are purchasing for other reasons I would not recommend UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE based on the below;1. The chamber in which you put the water does not have a lid, it does not seal/close shut.2. The device is in two parts; the water chamber (lower half of the globe) and the lid (top half of the globe). These two parts do not 'lock' together. The lid simply rests on the lower half. So if it was nudged or bumped in any way it could open/ fall apart. This compounded with the fact there is no seal on the water chamber means water will spill everywhere.3. Having read reviews which state it will run from from 7 to 12 hours (which is what I needed) I found it only ran for 2.5 to 3 hours maximum on the continual setting.4. When it runs out the tank still has 50% of its water in it, however as this water is at the minimum fill level it turns off.5. When it runs out of enough water and switches off, the circle on the top of the lid flashes for approx 1 minute. As I was using this for my baby who is a light sleeper it just woke her up.6. The night light feature turns off when the water runs out. This meant that my room kept going pitch black every 2.5/3 hours and I had to fumble about refilling the thing to get the light back on.7. KEY ISSUE: the water does NOT disperse properly!!! The mist comes out 360 round the globe (gap between the lower and top half) and it just settles on the surfaces round it. I left this on top of my chest of drawers and it completely soaked them. I have other electrical equipment there and was lucky nothing fused and no electrical fires started. I moved it to the carpet for the 2nd refill and woke up to a soaking wet carpet. Having viewed how it operates I believe that because the mist is not controlled; it just pumps pumps pumps out, it's not coming out as a fine enough mist to disperse therefore it just settles as water puddles right around the device.8. The Noise. This machine has a very very faint hum at the beginning which is hardly audiable, you really need to concentrate to hear it. However by 6 hours of use this non-issue hum changed to an electronic squeal/buzz that is just infuriating. Additionally from the moment I turned it on the water was very noisy. It's like a tap which is dripping and then occasionally running out a wee bit of water and then back to dripping. This wouldn't be so bad if it was a continual drip; at least it would become rhythmic, but it's just a constant but not in any routine drip that drives you round the bend.9. The power cord. I woke and refilled this machine 4 times. The first time I noticed the power cord was in the device but not fully in. I thought it was my fault not putting it the whole way in so on the first time seeing if a bit out I ensured it was properly fitted. Every time I got up the plug was again not fully in the device. No one was able to access it; and I believe that the condensationy mist was likely the cause of it coming out. Again with a pile of water laying around the device I'd dread to think what would happen if the cord came fully out and landed in the water.Overall if I could give 0 stars I would. Simply do not buy I cannot say it clearer than that. So glad my daughter and I survived the night with this contraption.

Very pleased with this item - it looks good, it is easy to use and is helping with my sinuses after a long winter of endless colds! The nightlight function is soothing.I have been using it overnight on the 30 second function, and this has only used half the water when filled up to the maximum level. It's nearly silent - there are some trickling noises, especially when the water level is high. But that is to be expected, really.I've not used this with any aromatherapy oils; I have found it to be effective in a double bedroom on the average size.

Amazon's deliveries are always on time and packaged properly. Love you Amazon <3The humidifier does everything it's supposed to do. It's really easy to use as well, you fill the container up with water, plug it in, and now you have the option of continuous or intervals of humidifying. I think the product is amazing, and really helps with breathing and helps with my dry skin.The oils however, don't have a huge impact on the smell, so don't purchase if you want to use it as a scent diffuser. But as a humidifier, 10/10.

limescale will ruin this it worked so well but after i opened it up to clean it properly the electrical part got rusty it had to be bined. If using with distilled water it will be great and clean it every day. I miss it but wont buy another one

like this, good design and works really well. Different functions very useful when using it at night time in kids bedroom.
