Wheelchair Cosy

Good product for needs.Elastic to put round handles not well sewn in.One broke before first use but both sewn back in on machine and now fine.Back flap a little short for my husband so attached cord now to elastic loops to keep back flap up back of chair and attach to handles. AlsoThinking of attaching loops to front of cosy and putting cord over shoulders from back flap so if raining can wear waterproof jacket as you would not be able to put jacket on if back attached to handles.Other than above wrap absolutely fine warm and cosy for those breezy seaside trips and water proof a bonusWould still need waterproof jacket as well if raining thoughCame before time stated. Recommend product with few adaptions for husbands needs. also highly recommend seller. Thankyou.

Great idea but unfortunately this product is not of a very good quality. To start with thought it was excellent but unfortunately within a week one of the elastic loops came off followed by the second a week later. Then the stitching that holds the lining to the cover started to come apart which has meant that everything started to fray. The actual waterproof material is okay in light rain but I end up with two wet knees if the rain is continuous or heavy - as the lining is no longer attached I can hold it up to the light and see where there are very thin patches where the weave is not very tight and these match the wet patches I get. Great idea in theory but unfortunately the quality of materials and stitching is just not good enough for real use.

The item is great keeps my partner warm but the drawstring isn't around the top body sleeve I will have to get a wire coat hanger to try and thread it through the tube it is supposed to house it.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and I'm very impressed by the value. It's kept me warm & dry, it's easy to put on & off, the central zip makes life easier. Finally a design likely made by someone with experience of being in a wheelchair. I recommend you try this, I tried a few before I found this one that suits me great.

Actually quite disappointed! The elastic handle straps both came off within the first two uses! Then on the third use the zip pull came completely off of the zip. took in excess of an hour and a half to get it back on! This happened whilst on a trip out with my daughter who is a wheelchair user and in much need of this cosy. Overall stitching needs to be improved to ensure that these problems do not arise.

Folds up quite small but is much warmer than not using a cover. good quality and extra warm. easy to fit. only problem my mam who uses it has Alzheimer and struggles to sit and this material is a little slippy so she ends up slipping and lying down a bit.
