So I bought this as my current phone is pretty terrible when it comes to battery life. I've used it plenty of times and is pretty useful.I had to get another one as the tourch didn't work on my first purchase. Now that I have gotten the replacement I have loved it. The tourch came in handy when going to Download Festival and finding things in my tent.However the flap that's attached to cover up the usb part has broken (which I don't really use so it's ok) Another downside is that the solar panal doesn't reacharge as well as I'd hope. However I do live in England so will have to try this out abroad in a warmer climat to try this. But so it's ok.Would recommend this for someone who travels and need a torch as you can kill two birds with one stone.

I love that this is rugged and well protected. Built in compass and excellent dual l.e.d. torch with s.o.s. mode ontop of the regular light and a basic slow strobe. The power button is part of the rubberised casing, so has no risk of water getting into it and the unit has a little green light that comes on to confirm the unit is getting a top up via the solar panel, rather that lighting up all four blue l.e.d.'s as if it was plugged it to charge. It's great that you can hang this from your belt loop or back pack and it charges your device whilst topping itself up via the solar panel!***EDIT 10TH FEBRUARY 2020***The tab that holds the cover on just broke off really easily, now exposing the input and outputs to rain. Not very tough. A pity, as the double L.E.D. torch in the end was really bright and perfect for outdoors.

Absolutely fantastic which is why I have given it 5 stars all round however keep in mind you cannot just rely on solar to use this as a regular charger. I have read it takes 48 hours of continuous direct sunlight (impossible) to charge fully. It does come with a handy usb to do charge with instead though.

The unit was a good size and charged from the computer's USB port absolutely fine but after using it once to charge my phone in the test I had it out in direct sunlight for a full day and the solar panel didn't charge the battery at all and it is almost the height of summer! This happened TWICE with 2 different units! Either I was unlucky to get 2 duds or this item is poorly made across the board.If this is an issue with where I am and the wrong latitude then why is this advertised for UK customers?

Brilliant. I use this quite often, especially if I’m going to an event, or conference. Instead of the more lightweight power banks you can get, I liked the fact that it’s solar powered (I do give it a power boost to ensure it’s longevity) I think it’s great. Only downside is the weight, but I can live with that.

After complying with all the set-up instructions the led lights would not operate,but after approximately 30 times of switching on and off the LED's started to flash and then steadied.Rather disappointed initially but I am prepared to keep item and hope that it continues to operate properly.KMF

Looks and works great, quality is very good but not enough rubber armour around the edges this would be something that could be approved on.Charging solar and usb are very good. The 2 led torch is extremly bright it will blind you if looking directly into it.I would recommend one of these if your an outdoors activity type person. Overall great product,fully recommended
