The Basic version of the S1000 does not require any additional software in order to be able to use the drive. The Enterprise version however does! Should you have any further queries, please contact us via the support page of the Kingston website. Your Kingston Team.

Q: Can this product be used for Windows to Go??

Bought the 4GB basic version - works as described for Windows and Mac computers. The metal case does get quite warm even if only used for a few minutes but otherwise a solid product.
