Cat Castle

This is a lot smaller than it seems according to the picture and the cat depicted on it. My cat is not heavy but long and tall. It is sort of small for him. I recommend this for only peoole with smaller cats or kittens. It's cute but my cat would rather still use a empty Amazon box.Update!My cat actually likes it. But with any thing he owes he only uses it here and there. He fits instead of it well, just not on top. Cats are surprising because they can fit in the smallest spot. So it's a decent product but I have a picky cat.

I knew my Josie would like the cardboard castle. She loves to munch cardboard. However, the description said the product included carpet. It does not. Also, No weight limit was in the product information. There is a 15 pound weight limit. That worked out okay for us, but it should have been mentioned. The cardboard does not take color very well.

First of all, this came in the mail quickly and was super easy to assemble. I love that it comes in a pack of 2, because I have to rabbits and they fight over who gets to sit in the castle, so it solves that problem cause they each get their own! The castle is a great size, it will fit all different breeds and sizes of rabbit (except the giant Flemish) and are great for rabbits who love to "redecorate" by chewing. 10/10, would absolutely buy it again. I might need to buy more soon, as my buns have "loved" the ones I have quite a bit!

I love it. It's perfect as a hideaway for my hollandlop. I strengthened this buy adding crossing cardboards under the cardboard "carpet". I will verify that it is not a carpet. Just a thicker cardboard. I got this on sale so it's not bad for the price. Doesn't fall and my bunny has jumped onto the top and it didn't break so success !

It's made out of cardboard and I was worried about buying it at first but for the price I decided to try it anyway. I'm happy I did! Even though it is only cardboard it is very strong and has been able to hold up our 2 chubby girls sitting on the top of it at the same time. It did scoot around a bit on our hardwood floors but it was nothing a little clear packaging tape couldn't take care of. All in all they love it, I didn't spend much, and we're all happy..

The product description does not indicate that adult cats, unless small adult cats, cannot fit into the castle. It is a cute idea but unless your cat is under 12 lbs, they won't fit. The cardboard is flimsy and there is not a carpet for your cat to lay on. Instead, there is a piece of rippled cardboard used as the roof for the cat to lay on and would not last long under any sized cat. Our cats preferred the box the castles were shipped in. I do not recommend purchasing this product. Unfortunately, I bought 3 :(.

The 'castle' is a bit smaller than it looks--the corners underneath the platform push in and take up a bit of space inside the bottom compartment, so it isn't very roomy. As other reviewers mentioned, there is no carpet included. There is no 'bottom', either. The main complaint I have with it is that it tips over--my very cautious kitty finally checked out the top part of the castle when it had a cat-astrophic failure and fell over. My cat weighs 10 lbs., but when you have something as flimsily built as this where there isn't any weight at all on the bottom part, it doesn't take much to cause a tip.

Small and flimsy but cats are ok with it. Not their favorite toy but they like to chase toys around it. Will not support the weight of my cats on top.

My cat is one big chonk and she is on this castle constently, I wasn't sure she would use it since it was to replace a cardboard gingerbread house that she could lay in it instead of on top of it. i was also sceptical because it was smaller than her previous house but she really digs being a princess. And she is a chonk, 13 ish pounds of fluff and it is sturdy. It doubles as something she can scratch on so it's really great. I did not take the time to colour it but if you have kids then they can decorate it which makes for a fun project, really easy to assemble.

I got this for my 8 week old kitten and she loves playing in it. I tied a ribbon around the top cirner so she can play with it when I'm not around. She even sleeps in it sometimes. Our 4 year old cat got jealous of the kitten and although he fits inside (just barely), I don;t think he would have been even slightly interested in it had the kitten not claimed it as her own.It's a cute addition to our living room, and looks better than just leaving empty cardboard boxes around. I would not recommend this for any cats over 10 lbs though..

I bought this before I read the negative reviews (there's more on amazon.com) but for the price, it's actually quite good. It's smaller than I thought it would be, sure. And there's no "carpet" it's just corrugated cardboard. But my cat is almost 20lbs and he's been up there all day and it's holding up perfectly. I'm sure over time with all the jumps, it's crash but it's not buckling under his weight or anything. He loves it so for $15, I feel I scored.

This the 3rd one bought as I have 1 husky kitty & 1 small kitty & love to jump into it, & leave through the windows etc so it lasts a couple of yearsWe reinforced our's with a piece of plywood for the 2nd level & that makes it last way longer. Little piece of felt on the 2nd level & kitty is set !One at the back door to lounge & watch the birds & squirrels , one at the front bay window for the sun

Simple pero sencillo. Será interesante que hubiera algún accesorio para poner en el piso como tipo rascador y le falta un poco de resistencia a la parte de arriba.
