Marina Decorative Aquarium Tri-Colour Gravel, 2 Kg, Blue

I got these along with a bag of purple stones and they're great, well worth the money. The fact that what you get or how much you get for what you pay is fantastic....It's my first time with an aquarium and I searched everywhere for reasonable priced stones for my tank and these were just perfect. Normally, I would say stones are stones, however, these marina stones are fantastic. Make sure you follow the instructions in regards to washing. People have said that they have killed, their fish, yet none have said anything about there water parameters. I have used this in my old tanks,and recently set up a 200l with this gravel. My cycle took around 3-4 weeks, and now the tank has two very happy goldfish, plecs and shrimp. I have a live planted tank and this gravel has been great for the plants to anchor down to. Have had absolutely no problems. Hagen is a trust worthy brand the makers of Fluval etc. Certainly worth the money.

We have a medium size fish tank In the kitchen with a gold fish and 6 small snails, I tend to clean out the tank every 2 weeks but got fed up with the small stones so decided to get some larger ones.These looked prefect until they arrived - me being a control freak and needing everything to match wanted blue stones to match the items in the fish tank but I received green ones.If I was colour blind, I wouldn’t worry but seeing I wanted blue and I got green, I was really disappointed.Amazon refunded due to the error and these went to my daughters school.

It's gravel...it's black...It's what I wanted!!Make sure you wash it thoroughly though as it has plastic bits and other foreign objects that could potentially cause harm!

I wouldn’t say the colour description was accurate, but luckily I was prepared for this after reading previous customer reviews. The gravel stones are black, brown & white. They rinsed easily and look great in the tank. There is a nice quantity of each of the colour stones, it doesn’t look more one colour than the others. I bought 10kg bag for 64l Interpet FishPod tank which worked out just right quantity wise. I would recommend this gravel, the only reason for the 4 stars is that I feel the colour description is misleading.

Let's give the positives first. Quick delivery & easy to rinse. The main issue I have, as the photo shows, is that there are far more white stones than in the promo picture and the grey are more brown than grey. I could have returned the 20kg but I'd already taken time to prepare my temporary, smaller, spare tank & transferred my fish. I'm hoping natural algae & time will darken the whites. Here's hoping!

This IS NOT THE COLOUR SHOWN!!! it is more a jade green. Wanted to return it but seller said it would become vibrant once we.... so I put it in huge bucket of water to wash and put in tank and to find it is still muted colour. Seller has now advised for me to return the product if I want a refund??!!!! Not sure how I’m meant to send back wet gravel with no packaging?!!! Bad customer service and very unhelpful. Wish I had just returned it in first place rather than to trust seller!!

I have tried various gravel brands and have found marina to be the best one. There's no dust, doesn't discolour and is easy to clean. I have had the black marina gravel in my previous tank and now the neon twilight in the new one which is quite colourful even with the night light on it looks fluorescent. Definitely brightens the tank. We'll worth the £4 I paid for it.
