No, it has a large waste trap so the flow of waste water is pretty good

Yes it comes with a waste. And ime a bathroom fitter and this tray is 100% well worth it's cost and have used many on my jobs ....

I installed it in a home I rented out from memory I think there was black where the tray drains but that it’s covered by a white top so the tray is entirely while when fitted
