zippo lighter fluid - Zippo

This tin of lighter fluid works perfectly, and completely fulfils its stated purpose. It arrived well packaged (in bubble-wrap), so as not to spill. It's easy to use - and will re-fill a Zippo lighter many times. Of course, it will work on other brands ... and can be used for a wider range of lighter purposes (such as starting a BBQ).It's a reasonable price, and as such I highly recommend it.

There is still something edgy about a classic metal flip lighter -- you know the type, flip open the metal hinged hood, thumbwheel light, flip it closed to extinquish, and have engraved on it whatever you like. What you need though, is this lighter fluid. Take out the light from the case, pry up the soft cover, and inside is cotton stuffing, which you saturate with this fluid. I looked everywhere for it, and here it is. The only way to light (a pipe in my case).

Yes you can buy a tin of lighter fluid in the quid shop for only a quid however it often leaves your lighter rather greasy and doesn't burn as good, i always personally use zippos own brand fluid as they have engineered it to prolong the life of your wick and filling material and give it a longer cleaning burn, although £4 is a bit expensive you have to take into account of the postage.

As anyone who owns a Zippo product would know, Zippo like you to use their fuel in their products - I wonder why...The fuel arrived quickly and seems to be a good price. The fluid burns very well and I have had no issues with it at all. Your Zippo lighter will probably need filling up every week or so if you don't use it regularly as the liquid is very volatile and will evaporate quickly.

Not much to say. Zippo is an established brand for a reason 10/10

I bought this to go with a new handwarmer - not Zippo, but I had read that Zippo lighter fluid burns cleaner than the rest, which is why I paid the bit extra. It does the job well. But I always have a fiddle opening up the nozzle each time and it would be good if it came with a little implement to lift up the nozzle!

Well it obviously worked in my zippo but it didn't last too long i had 2 zippos and i was re filling them about once a week (on each). I'd say it ran out after about 4 weeks so good enough for what your paying but if you are a heavy smoker or you use your lighter allot i'd go for something a bit bigger.
