OCB 3013 Mikromatic duo stuffing machine cigarettes

I already have the Premier Supermatic, which has been put to good use and still serves me very well, make no mistake about that! I bought this little beauty as a back-up device for producing king-size cigarettes only. It arrived today (Sunday!) which is a day earlier than scheduled, so I got to play with it sooner than anticipated which was an unexpected bonus. Beautifully boxed, the quality packaging reminds me a little of apple's attention to such details. This might seem to be an insignificant consideration but pack design adds to the build-up of delicious anticipation. The machine itself is compact, exceedingly attractive, very well engineered and quite as cleverly designed as the Premier. The instructions for use are easy enough to understand to such an extent that after a few minutes devoted to experimentation with loading, tamping and so on, this delighted Luddite was producing cigarettes that were well-nigh indistinguishable from those taken straight from a pack. I think that if one heeds the simple maintenance schedule and instructions-for-use that the manufacturer has supplied in the box, this shiny little gem will last for years. The use of brute force is obviously discouraged when operating any of this type of high-end machinery. With regard to this last point, it is highly desirable to keep within the optimum tobacco moisture levels recommended. Over-filling and tamping of the tobacco feed will inevitably lead to jamming of the mechanism. Exercise a little care (this rascal is robust but not indestructible) and use a little common sense and the Mikromatic will continue to exceed your expectations for a long time. The machine comes with a spare spring and an extra rubber cap for the tube/spoon feed. I've not yet checked for details of a supply of other spare parts. Excellent service, great machine. Just a quick footnote: Sorry if I'm preaching to experts here, but, after a week or two's use the filling on the cigarettes was falling about 3mm short of the business end. When I gave the machine a thorough cleaning tonight (wearing my specs for a change), I noticed a small plug of compacted baccy right at the end of the spoon. This was just about large enough to account for the empty space at the very end of the cigarette, as it comes off the Mikromatic. I think this was the result of using tobacco that was a little too moist or too tightly packed. I hope that clearing this will sort out the problem. Sorted! Sorry to add yet another footnote but it might be worth mentioning that the machine is a little less tolerant of "shag" cut tobacco than the Premier but used with finer cut, tubing or hand rolling baccy it works well-nigh perfectly! Last thoughts on subject...promise.

I am excited about this machine, I have been using it without any problems for over two years. Tobacco must be drier, of good quality and not too finely chopped. I use mixed pipe tobacco at home, which I still cut a little. Filling back into cigarette tubes with a shorter filter (Gizeh!) Is definitely not suitable for 'Make your own' cigarette tubes. These are completely unsuitable for this type of machine. If you still want to fill it into these cigarette tubes, I recommend not filling the tobacco into the right corner of the filler, inserting an 8mm pencil into it and pulling the filling lever with this empty corner. ‘Make your own’ and ‘Rizzla’ tubes have a larger diameter and a longer filter. It does not fit the amount of tobacco in the filler space. Good luck and the pleasure of smoking, enjoy before they forbid us everything!

Well, the postman has come and gone, leaving me with my new toy, the Mikromatic cigarette injector. Opening the outer cardboard box revealed one of the most attractive boxes I have seen in quite a while. The contents, the injector itself, chrome plated, it kind of reminded me of an old American iconic car like a Chevy, seeped in nickle and chrome. I have just made my first cigarette, using shredded whole leaf tobacco (which I think is THE best way to have a good smoke) The ciggie itself came out 100% perfect. Previous to this I have a Powermatic 1 and 2, the PM1 got broke the other day, probably due to too much brute force when it got jammed. Would I recommend the Mikromatic..... too bloomin right I would.

Very strong but only makes super size cigs and as per other types of machines takes a little use to get nice cigs. If you want standard size cigs go for the Korona Slim Tubing Machine.

When you pull the machine out, you know you have bought a well constructed machine. After reading previous reviews my first Cig. Came out perfect... I used Golden Virginia tobacco first spreading it out then filling the machine as per instructions. This is a no nonsense straight forward machine which produces cigarettes with ease. I use it to pre make them for evenings out or social gatherings where rolling your own can be of an inconvenience.

I ordered this, because I was sick of paying over £9.00 for 20 cigarettes. This is great, very easy to use little machine. I ordered some cigarette tubes, and within seconds I was away. You get about 50 cigarettes out of one tobacco pouch @ £15.00, and use 50 tubes @ £0.01 each total cost of an cigarette is about 3 ½ pence each. Compared to the company made cigarettes which works out to be about £0.45 pence each. If you make your own it works out to about £0.70 for 20 cigarettes. So this machine will pay for itself within 2 weeks. Thank you

I have been using tubing machines for years and am distinctly surprised at the number of 5 star reviews. This is a good machine but it does have its flaws. The injection is not up to the standards of commercial cigarette manufacturers so the lighted end will drop off from time to time - not recommended if you are smoking in the car! The older versions of the machine suffered from jamming, This could be reduced by regular cleaning, the use of drier tobacco and gentle filling. Nevertheless, the design of the mechanism behind the injector meant that at some point jamming was inevitable and dismantling was required to clean off the push rod/plastic block. This has clearly been recognised by the manufacturers and they have redesigned this part of the machine. Unfortunately, the rod is now inside a welded metal tube which makes both the jamming problem worse and cleaning very difficult. They really need a decent design engineer to look at this. It would not be difficult to eliminate nearly all the problem by applying the principle that the push rod should be in contact with a minimum amount of the rest of the machine. So, it gets a 3 star review from me because there is still a lot of design progress needed.

Hallo zusammen, Ich benutze die OCB Mikromatic Duo jetzt seit einigen Wochen und bin wirklich begeistert. Schon beim Auspacken merkt man, dass das Gerät kein billiges Plastikteil ist – sie hat ein ordentliches Gewicht und steht dadurch stabil auf dem Tisch, ohne zu verrutschen. Das macht das Stopfen gleich viel angenehmer. Die Bedienung ist sehr einfach. Nach ein paar Versuchen hat man schnell den Dreh raus, und wenn der Tabak richtig vorbereitet ist, bekommt man ein absolut gleichmäßiges Ergebnis. Die Zigaretten sehen sauber gestopft aus und brennen gleichmäßig ab – fast wie gekaufte. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: Die Maschine lässt sich leicht reinigen und bei Bedarf gut warten. Man merkt, dass sie für lange Nutzung ausgelegt ist. Insgesamt wirkt alles sehr hochwertig und robust – nichts wackelt, nichts klemmt. Die OCB Mikromatic Duo macht genau das, was sie soll, und das zuverlässig. Fazit: Einfache Handhabung, super Ergebnis, leicht zu reinigen und top verarbeitet – für mich jeden Cent wert! Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die regelmäßig selbst stopfen.

J'étai parti sur une électrique, et finalement j'ai suivi les conseilles en lisant les avis. Super content du produit, qualité et robuste visiblement. Simple, permet de faire des 100's . Cigarettes vraiment bien tassées, ça c'est cool. Du coup elle se fument pas trop vite et sans dégats ! Je recommande sincèrement.

Hola cómo he puesto en el título es sin lugar a dudas la mejor máquina para rellenar cigarros que yo he probado y he probado muchas, tanto manuales cómo eléctricas. Buscaba la pequeña ocb para seguir probando las típicas maquinitas que venden en los estancos. La buscaba porque cómo todos sabreis, la mayoría no vale para nada ,y hay que ir cogiéndole el truco a cada una para que los rellene medianamente bien. Puse en el buscador OCB,buscando la otra y me apareció ¡¡¡¡¡ ésta maravilla de máquina !!!!,después de leerme una a una todas las valoraciones que había y todas decían que éra increíble,me decidí a pedirla y efectivamente tenían razón. Por éso éscribo porque son muy útiles las valoraciones y uno cuándo no conoce un producto las ve y en éste caso estoy de acuerdo en todo lo que ya se ha escrito en las 20 valoraciones anteriores. Estoy tan contenta que acabo de pedir otra para mi madre porque la probó y no da crédito de lo bien que va. És muy sencillo hacer los cigarros,simplemente rellenar el cajetín , poner el tubo ,mover la palanca y el cigarro hecho cómo los de las cajetillas. Queda uniformemente repartido el tabaco de principio a fin,muy diferente a las máquinas pequeñas que siempre queda mal, hay que golpearlo en el filtro para que el tabaco baje a la boquilla, etc,etc. El material és acero de muy buena calidad , viene con un muelle y una gomita de repuesto por si en algún momento se deteriora con el uso. Es muy robusta y se ve que está hecha con unos materiales muy buenos.De hecho en el folleto pone que con un cuidado mínimo durará años y no lo dudo ya que se ve que és un producto de una excelente calidad. Trae una goma debajo antideslizante , queda sujeta a la mesa y no se mueve nada. Dicha goma se saca y se puede limpiar tranquilamente ,quedan pequeños restos de tabaco. También pone el folleto que para un mejor mantenimiento con el tiempo se le puede echar una gota de aceite ya que al quitarle la goma se ve el mecanismo. Imagino que con el tiempo una mínima gota de aceite para que siga funcionando correctamente.De momento hace una semana que la tengo y estoy encantada. No requiere el más mínimo esfuerzo ya que sólo mueves la palanca y con las pequeñas tienes que mover tú la máquina de delante a atrás para hacer el cigarro. La recomiendo a todo el mundo sin dudarlo,calidad y resultado excelentes. En cuánto al número de cigarros que se hace depende también de la cantidad de tabaco que se le pone a cada cigarro. Yo le pongo más o menos lo mismo que a la pequeña pero quedan infinitamente mejor prensados. Todo depende de gustos,yo no los hago muy prensados porque los hago para ahorrar cómo todo el mundo y si no voy a ahorrar para éso compro cajetilla. Por poner un ejemplo un bote de ducados que cuesta a dia de hoy 11,55€ me dió para 127 cigarros, poco más de 6 cajetillas y más o menos éra lo que hacía con la máquina pequeña. Bueno espero que os guste y no dudeis en comprarla ,és lo más !!!!! Bueno edito hoy después de 2años con esta maravilla de máquina para decir que sigue igual que el primer día.Tanto la mía como la de mi madre tienen 2años y están impecables.Sin ningún mantenimiento,simplemente sacar los restos de tabaco que quedan en el recipiente antes de guardarla y cada 4meses o 6 darle un pelín con un cepillito de dientes en el mecanismo,pero por encima. No hemos necesitado ni el muelle que viene de repuesto ni la goma.Cada vez que la guardo me fijo que esté la goma puesta,por si se me cayó. Sigue la máquina nueva como el primer día tanto la mía como la de mi madre. Leí una opinión negativa pero nosotras estamos encantadas con ella. No hay que poner mucho tabaco,ahí está la clave,rellenar bien los dos bordes y en el centro menos.Se le coge el truco enseguida .Feliz con esta maravilla de máquina. Suscribo cada una de mis palabras de hace 2 años. Compradla porque no os arrepentiréis, Vuelvo a editar después de 2años,o sea 4años desde la compra para decir que la máquina sigue funcionando perfectamente.Desde la última edición hace 2 años van perfectamente las 2 máquinas usándolas a diario.Cada una hace una media de 20cigarrillos por día sí o sí.Puede que un día haga 60 para 3días pero 20 diarios en cada máquina. Lo que ha pasado en cada una de las máquinas hace un año aproximadamente,es que la manivela se afloja un poco,hace juego.Entonces doy vuelta la máquina y justo debajo de la manivela hay una tuerca de 3cm de diámetro más o menos que se afloja.Cojo una pinza de punta de ésas finas por ejemplo de hacer bijou ,la aprieto y ya está solucionado.En una máquina se afloja más rápido que en la otra,en una máquina son meses los que tardó en volver a apretar y en la otra cada semana.Debió de perder la rosca.No me da absolutamente nada de trabajo ya que es medio segundo.Le daría 1000 estrellas.Si se rompe comprarë la misma sin dudarlo.De aspecto está impecable.No he usado los muelles de repuesto en ninguna de las 2 máquinas. Sigo corroborando cada una de mis palabras de mi primera valoración después de 4 años. Hoy 21 de octubre del 2021, vuelvo a editar para decir que las máquinas siguen como el primer día. La compré en mayo del 2014 y suscribo cada una de las palabras de mi valoración. Sin duda es la mejor compra de Amazon por el resultado que ha dado. Todo exactamente igual que en mis valoraciones anteriores. Sigo sin cambiar la goma y el muelle que vienen de repuesto. Ahora hace como 2 años que no le pongo aceite. Le he puesto una gota de aceite de siliconas pero como sigue funcionando perfectamente, no se lo he vuelto a poner. Hago 80 cigarrillos con un bote de ducados de 7,70€ (44g) a día de hoy. Los hago normal tirando a flojos porque me gustan así. Pongo bien en los laterales y en el medio menos cantidad. Depende del gusto de cada uno y de ir cogiéndole el truquillo. Si se me rompe la volveré a comprar sin lugar a dudas aunque tengo de repuesto la de mi madre que ha dejado de fumar. Una compra excelente y creo que ya no actualizaré más porque tiene pinta de que va a ser eterna. A día de hoy que todo se rompe tan rápido se valora mucho que algo sea BUENO. Es cómo dicen nuestros padres que antes una nevera y una cocina duraba 30 años y hoy es inviable por la obsolescencia programada. No os arrepentiréis, compra y MÁQUINA EXCELENTE.

Extreamly happy with this. High quality, makes much better cigarettes than my former machine (of another brand). I've only had it for a week, but I expect this one to be around for many years,
