It works and we really liked it

We could all probably use a detox from time to time. I was interested in trying out this kit because of the tea base and since all of the ingredients have been used traditionally for detoxification.I had a little difficulty with the matcha first thing in the morning, simply because I've always had issues with tea on an empty stomach (even though I can tolerate coffee without any problems). Compared to black tea, though, the matcha didn't bother my stomach too much.The day tea smelled like tea with a hint of lemon but had a pronounced and dominant lemongrass flavor. It made my tongue tingle a little when I sipped it and the sensation lingered a bit after finishing it, but it tasted good and I tolerated it well otherwise.The night tea was different, and in fact the instruction card notes that it has a distinct flavor. The peppermint, fenugreek, and licorice were common flavors to me, but the lotus leaves, burdock root, and hawthorn fruit were different. There was a green flavor as well as a bitterness in the finish. I was nervous after reading about the tea being distinct, but it was tolerable and could be diluted if needed. It sat well in my stomach, so no issues there.I have enjoyed these teas as a way to help my body detoxify.

Beautiful packaging, both teas taste very good . Overall quality of everything is great . The green tea shot and morning tea both give me a great amount of needed energy . Only complaint is the green tea packet is hard to open and gets everywhere I probably spilled more then I actually use . And I don’t really feel like it’s a detox tea or cleanse just some great tea

This set of teas arrives beautifully packaged, and the regimen is easy to follow: you get morning "kick start", energizing daytime tea, and soothing/cleansing nighttime tea.I enjoy different teas and find the flavors pleasant. I can't say that I notice a big difference (if any) in how I feel, but I suppose the results take time.I will update this review if anything changes, but so far I am happy with the presentation, ease of use and taste.

This tea is very well put together. The box is very pretty and there are instructions and explanation what's in each tea and how to brew them. I love the spoons that come with it, especially the one small one for matcha, it makes scooping up match so much easier than regular spoons I use at home. The other tea spoon is also very cute, it has the word "tea" engraved on it but it's a bit sharp around the edge, I've always felt like I can cut myself with it even though it hasn't happened yet.There are 2 boxes of tea sachets, one for day and one for night. There's also a box with a bag of matcha powder, which is for the morning. I like the day tea the best, it has a light ginseng flavor that is really calming. The night tea is also very mild but it has a licorice flavor, which is one of my least favorite flavor. It still tastes very pleasant but it's not my favorite. The matcha is the least of favorite out of the 3. It's not clear what grade the matcha is, it's said to be made from china. It has a bitter flavor but no noticeable fragrance or sweetness so it's definitely not ceremonial grade. It doesn't leave any clump when mixing the powder in water but it just seems to stay at the bottom instead of actually getting dissolve. There is hardly any flavor if you don't stir it before drinking.It's overall a very nice tea set and is a very giftable item. I think it would make a great gift for a novice tea drinker but an avid tea drinker would want higher quality tea.
