Storm Force Pegs
The media could not be loaded. As I work from home I'm responsible for hanging out the washing at any opportunity to save drying them in an expensive tumble drier. Therefore I've used all sorts of different pegs trying to find a type which securely holds the clothes to the line and also be more or less flush to the line to prevent the clothes getting snagged on the 'peg'.So far these are definitely the best type I've bought and used - by a long way. Traditional pegs are pretty much useless.See the attached video part of this review as I filmed that on a very windy day where the clothes were horizontal for much of the day - none moved and none got snagged up since I wasn't using traditional pegs. Therefore the washing got dried faster than it would if it ended up all wrapped around the line. The 'pegs' are easy enough to fit one handed while pegging clothing onto the line but removal can be a 2 handed job when the peg is pushed right down to be most secure. That is fine except there is a risk of damage to delicate clothing due to the narrow area of strong grip afforded by the pegs. It's a good trade-off since holding the clothes securely is a the primary concern and delicate clothing can be secured using traditional pegs which get less of an aggressive grip.PROS:-Easy to use-Lots of pegs can be carried in a pocket-Extremely secure grip when pushed right down onto line-Clothes do not move when peg is securely attached-Not outrageously expensive - Good value considering how effective they are-Clothes are less likely to get snagged when they flip over the line in heavy winds since there is no 'scissor' part above the line as there would be from a traditional pegCONS:-It generally requires 2 hands to remove the peg-Cost may put people off (but it shouldn't since they are very good)-The aggressive grip from the pegs is likely to cause damage to delicate clothing (if the pegs are pushed right down for a very secure grip)I'd definitely recommend these pegs to anyone wanting a simple solution to hold their clothes securely to a line - they are way better than traditional pegs. This review comes from someone (me) who has a new design for a clothes peg patent pending - and I am genuinely impressed with this simple, effective design so while I consider my design to have a great grip and one handed use with the potential damage to delicate clothing solved the fact is my design is only at the prototype stage so is a long way from being available for sale.Go for this peg - I did.You will not regret the decision.

A little different but, they work!
I don't normally review all my Amazon purchases let along some pegs! However, as I'm getting older I hate poor quality 'throw away' items. On the rare occasion I went to hang the washing out I was always struck by how rubbish the pegs we had were. Flimsy plastic with rusting metal bits. Okay for holding some washing on the line but, get a few strong gusts of wind and it was on the grass. So I went on a search for some of the wooden pegs, which we used to have. Seemed better but, would eventually snap after a few years of use. I discounted the Brabantia pegs as there were too many negative reviews with pegs breaking. Discounted the Lakeland soft grip pegs as too many reviews saying they didn't hold the washing on the line. Then found these - there are some 2 star reviews but, I offset this against the mainly 5 star reviews. Gave them a try and love em. They work well in windy weather. They are easier to put on than wooden pegs (in my view). They brighten up the washing line and you get plenty in a pack for most washing lines. Glad I found these. Yes they look a little different but, they look like they won't break and are a doddle to use.

What a funky and fun invention!
Such a fabulous design, these pegs are such fun, they are so bright and tactile and made in Britain. I have used these pegs for the first time today - they are easy to use and have worked perfectly. I'm not sure they are any better at hanging clothes on the line than traditional pegs and I have not seen how they stand up to strong winds but they look like they are made to last and theres no need to bring them in all the time as there's no parts to rust or snap. They make hanging out the washing much more fun and certainly brighten up the washing line even when there is no washing on it. I am very pleased with my purchase - thank you

Simple design and they do the job!
Read a few of the reviews and seemed a good choice. Received quickly and yep, they do the job. You won’t have the problem of plastic pegs getting brittle in the sun or the spring rusting or breaking; which happens with every standard peg I have bought to date. I have bought others which are storm proof and don’t have any metal visible but these are a simple design and they just work! Nothing to break, snap, rust etc., so I would imagine they will last a very long time. Worth a go!

Well worth buying
These are brilliant and last really well. I've had them for nearly 4 years. The colours are a bit lurid at first - the bright fluorescent is really, really bright, but it does weather to a more faded colour over time. They keep things securely pegged on the line, but it does take a bit of trial and error to find the right depth in the notched middle to hold stuff in place. They are easy to clean - if I drop them on the floor I just throw them in the washing machine with the rest of laundry. Even better, there's no moving parts to break or ping out like the springs in wooden pegs.

Brilliant
These are the best pegs I have ever bought. They don’t break, discolour the washing. They, fit different thicknesses in clothes They also look very bright and colourful on the line. At last I have found pegs that I don’t have to keep replacing. Definitely recommend them Also great in high winds

Love these, durable, easy to use, one part, great for travel
Bought these a few years ago for a camping holiday where they took up less space for travel. Now use them for all my washing and have just bought another set now that I have a much longer washing line. They are pretty much indestructible. They slide on easily but hold well and I've used them for things as small as baby gros and kids clothes up to duvet covers and sheets and they hold them all. They're also bright enough that if you drop any you can spot them in the grass quick enough.Good pegs, slightly pricey but worth it as I'm sure I would have had several replacements of many other types before now.
