No more leaving stuff on the beach! I'm free to go off and explore, and take as long as I want!The dry bag area holds a surprising amount without even vaguely struggling (my usual list is hotel key, money, t-shirt, sun screen mobile phone & portable hard disk). Also you'd think that the belt might cause chafing, but I did a 3-hour+ swim yesterday and I have no marks at all.A extra bonus of carrying your mobile phone with you is you can use MapMyRun to record your swim using GPS. Groovy!Update after a couple of months' use: No defects, still super-useful, probably around 30 swims now. Particularly handy if you need to stop somewhere for a drink on the beach!Update after 6 months: I used this thing every couple of days in my 5+ months in Thailand, and always without a problem. I even loaded it up with drinks one time for an 8-hour marathon swim, and it coped admirably.Update after a year: I recently dug out my swim buoy over a year after purchase, this time for the Philippines. 6 months in a bag didn't seem to have caused any ill effects, so it was back to business as usual. A great purchase.

Gives a swimmer visibility from boats, jet-skis etc and also increased sense of security in case of cramps during a longish (or shortish) swim. I am awaiting a hip operation and working hard to keep the joint mobile. Holding the float to my chest whilst doing the back-stroke enables great exercise of a degraded joint without any pressure or stress on it. In this case 'Gain without pain'.Have not used any other floats so cannot compare. But this float is well made with a handy 'dry bag' compartment for small extras or phone. Excellent for all grades of swimmer. Should be a safety 'must' for lone pairs of swimmers.

Works just as it says it does. When swimming in open water (sea), it allows me to relax knowing that the chances of bringing seen by boats is so much greater. Then to have a floatation device if I get into trouble is also comforting.And when swimming, I didn't notice it was there although I have not tried it in big waves.

I can't believe I have swum for years in the lochs workout one of these. It makes you so much more visible to other water users. I wanted one with a dry pouch and this one works well, I only keep my car keys in it but room for a towel, phone and cash if you are stopping off on your swim. Excellent.

Brilliant. Not had one before. I am a very confident open water swimmer, just wanted somewhere safe for my keys, phone and sandals while I'm in the water. Does this perfectly without getting in the way, you don't feel it at all while swimming. Did find though it's really nice to rest on while having a chat in the lake! 😁

The item is good keeps my stuff dry . It`s nice a bright and others can see you .

Its great. I used it when swimming across a bay. I dont swim that often so if swimming at sea it was reassuring to know that if I became tired I could rest.

What a great piece of kit. For a novice in open water swimming 4 miles it provided surety in case of cramps, and a lovely pouch to store the GoPro in for easy access for the other swimmer! Easy to inflate and deflate - unlike the other swimmer's version!
