It is not fitting with my existing bed frame even though it is twin size

The frame doesn’t actually fit an XL twin box spring… the description says: “Twin XL Bed Frames Base for Box Spring and Mattress.” We had to bend the metal pieces on top that are meant to hold the box spring in order to barely wedge it in. I doubt it will hold up over time because of that. On top of that challenge, the headboard attachment is so weak that the headboard is not stable at all. It’s screwed in properly, yet continues to move as the metal is actually bending with the headboard. Very frustrating experience overall! I’m wondering if we were sent the wrong product.

This frame was very easy to put up. It didn't even give instructions. When we went to put the box spring and mattress on to it would not fit. The width of the frame was about 1/2 inch too small for the mattress and box spring to fit between the bars like it should. This was a let down. I was trying to get my dad's bed ready for him before he came out of the hospital. Was not ready, I was disappointed.

This product is .4 inches smaller than a standard twin box spring...a small difference, but enough to make it unusable! This is actually listed in the produce details, but I didn't notice because I assumed it would be standard twin.
