Why is there chinese writing on the label?

Sadly I never noticed all I can say is they are the best gherkins I've bought

I have just bought these and the expiry date is October 2024. Kept in a cool dark place they should last somewhat longer than this without a problem.

What is the sell by date

On my jar the date is on the lid side. Expiry 17. 08 .21

What are the ingredients?

We love this relish! No burger is complete without it.The ingredients are:-pickled gherkins 41%, glucose-fructose syrup, spirit vinegar, onions, sugar, pepper, modified starch, salt, mustard seeds, colouring E160c ? I think, but the writing is tiny. 350g in total.
