Hikari Algae Wafers for Pets, 0.70-Ounce

Ordered 15th March came today 21st March, the expiry date on these green algae wafers is May 2017 so couple months,good thing ordered smallest packet,the fish went crazy for them,so a good buy,and theyhover near top of the tank before gliding down and don't disintegrate.they don't break up,my tropical fish are nibbling them as they slowly sink to the bottom,loved by all my fish with a name you can trust hikari.

So good that my 2alge eaters are now 5 and the tank is crystal clear water really and the rest of the fish even tried to eat the disc clean to pick up and no smell

Fish like them but they break up into loads of small bits. The wafers made by Tropical are much better.

Arrived promptly and all my fish eat them readily.

Not value for money

Seems taste & easy for pleco to find

I’ve always fed my pleco’s this brand. I did try another brand once but it didn’t go over. So back to these.If you have a huge goldfish like I use to, I’d have to feed them after I put food in for the goldfish because they would gobble them up too.My pleco’s really like these and there nice and flat for their mouths. They don’t dissolve really quickly and usually the pleco has it eaten before it does.I only feed my big pleco one every other day along with some Nutrfin Max. I was told they won’t keep the algae off the tank if you feed them every day. Seems to work great they do their job and the pleco’s are pretty big from the tiny ones I started out with.The only con, the price for this brand is outrageous from when I first started buying them.

Hikari products are really awesome. Using for quite some times now. Also had micro pallets which small mouth fishes loved a lot. This @lgae wafer loved by Shrimps, Ottocinclus and sometimes fishes also. Go for it guys. See attached photo. Guys rushing to tablet to eat on first come first serve. BTW it's not like our real Wafer. It's tablet type food. For better, crack one tablet in 2 and put in 2 different areas. One tablet sufficient for 20 odd shrimps (divided in 2 pcs).

I started a new tank and got a few snails, and decided to get this for them to give them an extra snack. A few moments after I put it in they descended on it like like crazy, and seemed to really like it.
