Q: This product is made from perfumery raw materials only but I couldn't find anywhere what these raw materials are. Any ideas?

The answers is quite easy to find if you Google search, basically a paste is made from the raw ingredients (this depends on your fragrance) This raw ingredient base is formed into a kind of dough which can be applied to a bamboo stick in the case of the incense stick or a cone. Obviously for the paste to burn it contains combustable material such as charcoal.

Q: Are they any good at repelling midgies?

Unfortunately only a small amount

Q: Mine don’t smell very citronella like?

Ours did and they were great for diminishing the attacks from mosquitoes! We live outside the UK in a warm country and we were delighted with the item.

Q: I just purchased some fumino® autumn breeze fresh incense cones, but they were over powering, too heavily scented. are these a gentle aroma?

Yes these are gentle, but don't expect them to do anything other smell of citronella.
