I really like the colour of the light when comparing to halogen equivalent bulbs, they look nice and no flicker.The elements point sideways so most of the light comes out in that direction, with little going 'up' and away from the screw. This makes them perfect for table lamps and anywhere else you want most of the light to radiate sideways, but no good as spot lights (fortunately that is what other LED bulbs are great at!). The sideways brightness I'd say is around that of a 40W bulb in old money (I compared with equivalent halogen bulb), but note the 'upwards' brightness is far less (which is not a bad thing in many situations).Do not put these bulbs with any kind of dimmer, they will just buzz, even on full brightness - but they aren't designed for that.I can't comment on how long they last as I have only used them for a month, but there was 1 faulty bulb (50hz flicker) which abalando GmbH replaced in the post when I emailed them - great service.CE marked, incredibly efficient and relatively inexpensive - perfect. Lets see how long they last!More styles and BC connectors please!

AVOID IF YOU DONT WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY. I'm hoping the seller has the decency to get in touch and refund me for these awful bulbs. The first one I fitted was fine but then blew out after about 100 hours use. So, I fitted another - this flickered horribly so I changed it for a third and this one just turns on and off intermittently. It is now too late to send them back but they are not fit for purpose.

Good Product and value for money. I have put 5 of these into a landing light and all looks very good.

Not as long lasting as claimed

UPDATED: One out of the five fitted so far blew after two weeks of usage (not even very heavy usage, a few hours per day). Not that impressed any more. Not buying more for a while, I'll see how long the others last.Nicely shaped bulbs, replacing my old incandescent lights. They produce a warm wihte light, although colour temperature is not quite uniform, as some of the bulbs seem to be a bit 'yellower' than others, but not annoyingly so. Thanks to its filament-style build it has very wide beam of light.

These are a great improvement on the LED candle bulbs I have bought before and their appearance is pretty close to that of a clear incandescent bulb. Subject to them proving reliable (I have used 5 and they have coped with occasional use over a month), I will be inclined to buy additional ones for other light fittings.While such things are subjective, 5 bulbs provide a good light level for my dining room

Bulbs received as expected. However since in use I have to agree with the over written reviews. Don't waste your money. They are noisy and after about one hour of use they started to flash, then one started to smoke and I had to switch the lights of before it caused any damage. You can see why you can't return them. These products are not safe and should not be for sale. Take notice supplier and return there money.G M Bird.

Tengo la tradicional lámpara de araña en un dormitorio con 6 bombillas de vela incandescente de 60W cada una. Demasiada luz para un dormitorio y producían mucho calor. Previamente ya había aflojado 4 de las incandescentes por su alto consumo dejando solamente 2 de ellas (2x60W = 120W). Ahora he reemplazado las 6 bombillas incandescente por estas 6 de 3W. Ahora tengo más iluminación por mucho menos dinero (3W x 6 = 18W).Como la bombilla está a la vista (no cubierta por tulipas), elegí este tipo con filamento que me resultan más estéticas que las nuevas de led. No molesta nada a la vista, ahorran más y producen una luz muy cálida y agradable para un dormitorio.

muy malas , se supone que duran mas que las normales y no es verdad, en poco mas de un año , todas fundidas... no ahorras nada porque ahora las tengo que volver a cambiar, nada recomendable su compra.

Me sorprendió la luz que daba. Una luz calida con total diferencia a las incaldescentes.La luz es aceptable. identica a una bombilla de 30wSorprende el poco consumo, solo 3w.

Una bombilla ha durado menos de un año.

Dan incluso un poco más de luz que las que tenía de toda la vida. Son buena opción, sobre todo por el ahorro de consumo.
