I can ride by bike with no handlebars
Really nice bike! had to take it to the bike shop to have a part tightened that was a little funky but otherwise it went together well with minimal tooling and time and overall has performed well. Total ownership time 1 year.

Perfect bike for a kid!
This bike was easy to assemble and seems to be of sufficient quality for a kid. It's no Trek, but it's sturdy, with good hardware included. I bought this for my son's ninth birthday, and have not given it to him yet, but I'm sure he'll go nuts for it. The gear system seems pretty simple for a kid to use. Total assembly time was about 30 minutes, and all the tools were included.

Full feature bike at a great price
Shimano derailleur and trigger shifters made this a no brainer for a starter bike with gears for a kid. My little one is 5 and this fits him well with the saddle all the way at the bottom. He’s pretty advanced so I wouldn’t recommend this for very many 5 year olds but it fits him to where he can straddle the bike and feet touch the ground. The set up was very simple. You do have to tune the derailleur, set up and tune the brakes, etc so if you’re not good at that I’d recommend dropping it off at a bike shop and letting them do it. I work with my hands and tools for a living. A simple YouTube search and it was roadworthy in about an hour tops out of the box. Pleasantly surprised with how simple the tuning and set up was. The box came damaged and there is some rash on it as you can see here and the front wheel is slightly warped. I chose not to return it and it’s all working out great.

Safety issue
I really wanted to like this bike because of the good reviews. The gears don’t switch easily and when changing gears the chain gets messed up and comes off the track. My child got injured because the chain came off and the bike stopped short.

Good enough.
Daughter loves it. Had to replace the gear shifter when it broke about 3 weeks of having it.

Great bike for the money
My son absolutely love this bike. He went from riding a standard 1 gear bike to now being able to not have to walk up hills. He picked up on the shifting super easy. I did have to readjust the breaks after assembly but that was to be expected.
