My old qatch is a generic amazon watch watch that cost less than £10 several years ago and I wanted a new one, I was looking for something smaller and less bulky than my current one, I looked at some other types, like the resin model but they didn't seen as durable and I find the resin irritates my wrist, then came across this, good old classic casio, I've seen lots of these growing up and had one at some point, the best selling point is they just look cool, they're very practical, it doesn't catch on my sleeve like my old one, doesn't bounce around on my wrist everything I move, the band is a good fit and I fell asleep with it on which wouldn't be possible with resin, it's easy to adjust without needing special tools, the face is chrome plated with a stainless steel band, it has all the right markings, has all the features I'll need for everyday use, light works just fine, any better and I suspect it would just use more of the battery, a great honest watch for the everyday and they tend to be unisex, thus from a company that introduced the first mass production watch, the first resin watch and a whole bunch of other things electronic

I have had one of these before. It lasted 15 years, until the case broke. Accurate (1 second a week for that one. I am waiting to see how good this one is - so far it looks like 3 seconds a week) and reliable. I would recommend it to anyone. I have now had it two months. It has lost 14 seconds. Why does anyone buy a more expensive watch?

Bought this for my uncle as a present since I remember him wearing one when he was younger. Casio needs no introduction, simple design, built tough. If taken care of, it should last a solid ten years. I love Casio! It shipped from America and took about a week to arrive. The packaging was excellent, and it’s an affordable, thoughtful gift.

Vraiment une très belle montre, elle est superbe. Vous remarquerez qu'elle va très bien avec mon clavier IBM de 1990 !! Reçue dans un écrin avec notice, petite cartonnette ficelée au bracelet et papier de garantie comme à l'époque (effectivement la notice n'est pas en français mais ce modèle n'est pas sur le site de CASIO Europe, il est sur le site US : ceci explique cela je pense) les réflexes reviennent vite à ceux qui ont connu ces montres dans les années 90 ! J'ai par contre été un peu surpris : j'ai beau comparer les descriptifs avec les modèles dit "pour hommes" la largeur du bracelet est à 18mm comme sur celle ci donc je ne sais pas. Soit il existe plus gros mais pas sur ces montres old school, soit c'était bien ça mais l'impression qu'on a sur le poignet à 10 ans n'est sans doute pas la même quand on en a 32... Le plaisir reste quand à lui intact. Si quelqu'un peut commenter mon avis pour préciser la chose, n'hésitez pas. Elle est effectivement mixte et très élégante, sur mon poignet comme sur celui de ma compagne (merci à elle pour la vidéo, dommage qu'Amazon fasse une si grosse compression de l'image !). Une petite précision quant aux couleurs : mes photos font particulièrement ressortir les couleurs, à cause du flash. Au quotidien, elles sont plus proche du visuel proposé par l'annonce, elles sont fondues et pas si voyantes à moins d'être au dessous d'une source lumineuse. Au niveau des fonctions : Heure, jour (deux premières lettre du mot anglais), n° du jour, (le n° du mois n'est pas visible mais doit quand même être renseigné lors du réglage pour rester calé au calendrier) chronomètre avec gestion d'un tour (lap), alarme, qui sonne pendant 20 secondes si on ne l'arrête pas (contrairement aux 5s qu'on m'a indiqué dans les questions Amazon) ce qui est donc très bien. Elle peut également être arrêtée manuellement en appuyant sur le bouton reset. La lumière peut paraître juste comme certains l'indiquent mais au final elle est parfaite dans l'obscurité totale et n'agresse pas les yeux. C'est juste ce qu'il faut pour discerner l'heure la nuit c'est génial. Ceux qui veulent mieux doivent se tourner vers les montres disposant du mode "électro luminescence"(A168WA-1YES), qui correspond à un rétroéclairage complet de couleur bleue. Ces versions sont trop modernes pour moi, je voulais ce que propose cette A158WA !! Vraiment, je suis pleinement satisfait, j'attendais la livraison comme un gamin et je ne regrette pas du tout. De toute façon... 15€... faites vous plaisir et retournez en enfance, ou faites la découvrir à vos enfants :)

Le cadran est plus petit qu'il n'y paraît sur l'image. Pour homme ou pour femme ? Et bien, il est écrit mixte. Peu importe. L'éclairage est faible ? C'est cela la magie d'une montre rétro. C'est une belle montre, une belle montre d'antan qui vous fera sentir élégant.
