The Short: This is an impressive, well built, great value bit of kit that size for size creates a louder, richer sound than any traditional type of portable speaker. It is heavier than your average pocket speaker, but that's more than made up for by the sound it produces.Steer clear of 5W version though as I imagine that would be too quiet.The Long:Minutes after you've connected to this device I guarantee the first thing you'll do is run around your home or office putting the vibrating pad against absolutely everything you can think of - doors, fridges, boxes, tables, glass, tupperware, and your own head to see what makes it louder, crisper or more bassy. My favourite discovery thus far has been the quite frankly ridiculous effect created when placed on the corner of a bath - turning it into one giant bass bin. On a related note, because it transmits the sound waves through objects instead of making waves of air like ordinary speakers do, you can fill the bath up, lie back with your ears underwater and hear your music loud and clear!The battery life is quite impressive; turned up full will give you about 4-5 hours but in normal use you can realistically get 6-8, though there is definitely a noticeable drop in sound quality when the battery is getting low (it becomes less sharp and more fuzzy, which will be more or less noticeable depending what surface it's on). As with all bluetooth devices the range is entirely dependent on the phone or device you're transmitting from but is definitely on a par with other bluetooth audio devices I've had.As sturdy as it is I did manage to break mine by using it on the edge of a jacuzzi for a long time. The combination of jacuzzi steam and the cold outside temperature resulted in some moisture getting in, condensing inside at the top and corroding one of the connections on the bluetooth chip. In fairness nowhere do adin say it is in any way water resistant, and this is simply a case of me being overly enthusiastic. It did give me an excuse to open it up and see what's inside (FYI access is by cutting around the edge of the top, not unscrewing the bottom) and I can tell you it's really neatly made and the circuits look to be good quality. Connecting with a cable still works but I am definitely going to get another.

Solid product, well built, good design on the whole. Sound quality? Well, that depends on the music and very much on the surface you place it on. You may be wise to invest in a support, suction cup or similar device - it needs to be stuck/held onto the surface at any decent volume to avoid rattling against that surface. It can give deeper sounds, which you can feel, but most people would probably want a normal speaker to reproduce the missing frequencies. There is no audio/out jack plug! You the included USB-to-audio/USB cable, which might be a disadvantage for those not using the (Boomtech) BlueTooth features. Overall, a wonderfully design, heavy product, but which is unlikely to replace your full-range, air-pushing speakers! It is amazing how sound is transmitted through ones skull! :) (Erh... at your own risk - it's not design for that!!)

As you'll see from other reviews there's lots to like - feels solid, looks smart, sound is good when you get it on the right surface, lots of fun to be had experimenting with different places to put it.But... Mine made a really conspicuous buzzing noise all the while. It was very off-putting during quiet moments or between tracks, and once you'd noticed it then it continued to distract even during louder music.I bought mine after seeing colleagues at work with similar devices. When I searched Amazon I only noticed these Adin models, but on quizzing my colleagues about the background noise problem I realised theirs were actually  Damson Twists  instead. Adin appear to be making a very, very similar looking product, but it looks to me like Damson are the original (and UK-based) creators of this style of speaker.I returned my Adin and bought a Damson for a very similar price. The speaker itself feels very similar, but the packaging of the Damson really made it feel like a higher-end piece of kit (the Adin had a 'generic cheap import' feel to the packaging). And there's no hint of background noise from the Damson.I'm assuming my Adin was faulty since other reviews don't mention it so I was probably just unlucky. Nonetheless, if you can get a Damson for a similar price then that would be my tip.

I needed a portable speaker to demo ideas at work - It needed to be clean with a balanced, full range sound but also portable and reasonably priced. I found one of these on sale in Maplin and it fulfilled all the criteria. It sometimes takes a few minutes to find a good reverberant surface but once you do it sounds excellent.The geek in me loves playing with it to find the best place in the room, but that's because it's such a cool little device. Glass seems to work best for anyone trying it out - try a window.It's not as light as you may expect - it has to have a bit of weight to it to stop it just bouncing around, but it's certainly not heavy. It seems pretty robust - it's been banging around the bottom of my tool bag happily for a couple of months now with no issues!

Things started well - good sound, solid-feeling product. Pretty easy to use.But it ceased to function after only a few months and I replaced it with a cheaper make and model which so far is going strong.

Sound is good untill speaker starts losing power.Then it vibrates that bad that you cannot hear music. Also if not positioned on the right surface sounds bad. Would not recommend it.Plenty of cheaper options.

Only one word can describe this speaker. EXCELLENT. The sound quality Is out of this world for such a small speaker I would advise anyone who wants a Bluetooth speaker to buy this one. You can use It using Bluetooth or hardwired with the cable supplied. I have tried on mobile phone and on Samsung galaxy tablet, Its so easy to set up.

Realmente el sonido es excelente, la calidad de construcción da muy buena impresión, excepto por el interruptor, que se nota que es plasticucho. Aunque eso no es problema. Sobre madera proporciona unos bajos muy cálidos, y el hecho de que sea bluetooth es indispensable para no tener que dejar tu móvil en lugares incómodos.1º contra: el Line-in es con forma de mini USB. no tiene una clavija de entrada jack 3.5 mm por tanto, si no cuentas con un dispositivo bluetooth, no te puedes separar de ese cable que viene en el paquete. El cable en cuestion tiene un mini USB por un lado y por el otro un USB para cargar y un Jack 3.5mm para conectar el reproductor.2º contra: no viene con funda apropiada. La cajita está bien, pero no es portable. La pieza que vibra es delicada como para llevarla sin funda. Estaría genial que te proporcionaran una.A pesar de esto, no me arrepiento para nada. Es más, pienso comprarlo como regalo. Es muy divertido, compacto, manejable y el sonido es sorprendente.

Conocía el producto por haberlo visto en FNAC -de otra marca- y a un precio de más de 110€. Compre este y quede impresionado. El sonido lo adaptas según donde lo colocas.No le doy las 5 estrellas porque la base se ensucia en un minuto y pierde la adhesión,sin que se explique como limpiarla o evitarlo. Una compra genial. Y el envío perfecto
