It works. Was able to get my vlood type within minutes. The important things are to read the instructions properly and to not cross-contaminate the stuff inside the little circles. Remember to add your drop of water to each circle as well. Just one drop. The finger prick device worked very well for me. Remember to shake or swing your arm and to rub the arm and finger/hands first to get blood flowing properly and to warm hands up by rubbing which also helps blood flow. Then press the device firmly to finger before pressing the button. Pic shows 2 lancets but my kit came with only one and in a diff shape. It worked fine but just in case it fails or you accidentally deploy it, have a sterile needle ready just in case. My lancet worked a bit too well and an extra drop nearly ruined my eldron card so make sure you have a tissue handy just in case. R3sults were easy enough to reads. Expiry date on mine was October 2026. Good kit. I finally know my blood type.

Take your time & read the instructions this is an important part. Also watch the video provided so you understand what you need to do.. Test doesn’t take very long to do & you can fill out the card & cover it with a clear plastic to keep in your filing cabinet or in your wallet etc.. The process is really easy.. ensure you have a clean area to work from & wash your hands & or the person you are testing.. The only items you need are a pen, water, cotton wool or tissue to press on your finger/thumb after the test is completed.. Results are easy to follow as long as you follow the correct instructions.. I was really happy with the results for my adult children & I did a control one on myself (already knew my blood type) which the results were the same.. I would highly recommend if you want an idea about your blood type this can be helpful for diets or other personal reasons..

I wasn’t impressed, I brought two kits and ended up using both myself The needle device was broken in the first kit and when I did the tests both were unclear and looked like got two different blood groups Not helpful - I wished I saved my £20

I already knew my blood type, I just wanted to see if this works. It did! It was accurate! No agglutination on any of the circles, control was good= O neg. Easy to do if youre not squeamish, video instructions were easy to follow, lancet hurts only like a small scratch. Only thing is that my finger kept bleeding for a bit afterwards and there's no plaster in the kit so had to grab one from the medicine cabinet. If you're still not sure after the test just donate blood, they will tell you your type afterwards which is why I know mine.

Very easy. In fact it was so easy I thought I'd done it wrong. Read the instructions first. All of them. That way the steps in the test make sense when you do it. As it happened I didn't need to use the lancet because I cut my finger and used the drips from that. [Note: a cut or cat scratch producing clean blood is perfectly suitable substitute for the lancet, but never use blood from a dog or cat bite because the saliva and bacteria which will wreck the test and you'll get a wrong result. [Obviously once you've done your test remember to clean and treat your wound. Clean wounds don't scar; infected wounds do]. The test is worth doing and can save time in an emergency. **Public health announcement**: A hobby horse of mine, as a retired vet who has worked with cats for decades... If you are bitten by a cat you need antibiotics. Even if you upset the doctor by telling them what to do. But it is your hand at risk, not theirs. Cat teeth are long and inject bacteria deep down around the bones where washing with disinfectant won't reach. If left the cleaned skin will heal but the bacteria deep inside will be warm and cosy and will multiply so by five days you have a burst abscess. Abscesses are painful and require a lot of work to sort and you could still lose a finger. So get antibiotics early. This advice is approved by both the vets and doctors governing bodies.

The kit includes everything you need and instructions are fairly straightforward, but I found it quite difficult to clearly read the results. The reaction spots were faint and a bit confusing, so I wasn’t 100% sure what my blood type was. I even had to ask ChatGPT to help interpret it, but I still couldn’t be completely certain. It’s a good idea in theory and could be useful, but I wish the results were easier to understand or came with a clearer visual guide. I wouldn’t rely on it without confirming with a lab test.

This blood testing kit was extremely easy to use, and made even easier by watching the very short video that was in the link on the information received with the kits. Both my husband and I already knew our blood type, but for personal reasons wanted to test ourselves at home so that we could be 100% sure. The results came up very quickly, and both were 100% correct. I would definitely recommend this kit.
