This machine does the job so much better than an angle grinder. With the vacuum connected to the vacuum attachment the dust is almost eliminated. The twin blades and cut width adjustable in 5mm increments up to 30mm means that cutting a slot for e.g. 25mm oval conduit is very neat, even in very hard brick up to 40mm deep. Admittedly you have to take it slowly but the red and green motor load LED's tell you if you are working it too hard and its easy to get the feed rate right. However there are a few drawbacks and poor design features. 1) it is quite heavy so upward chases and horizontal chases can be pretty tiring, especially in hard materials; 2) if you have marked out a chasing line it is quite difficult to align the blades with the mark at the start of the cut, I decided to make some marks on the edge of the baseplate to tell me where the cutting discs were; 3) the 'laser guide' is a joke - firstly it is not parallel to the machine, secondly it points AWAY from the direction of travel - so completely useless; 4) because of the size of the wheeled base plate (which is helpful for stability in 'open wall or floor' chasing situations) and the motor projecting from the left side it is not possible to cut vertical chases right up to ceilings or down to floors, or tight to corners on the left if working the machine down the wall. This means that those parts have to be chased out with an angle grinder or chisel; 5) the design of the vacuum take off has a small grid in it. If chasing through plaster typically little bits break off and clog up the outlet. I removed the grid which helped; 6) stupidly the carry bag supplied cannot be completely zipped up with the blades mounted and the machine blades fully retracted. You either have to leave it partly open or take the blades off every time. Having said all that I still think this machine is very good. It seems to be solidly constructed. These things are drawbacks rather than fatal flaws. This machine saved me a lot of time on a big job and I am very pleased I got it. For just over £100 it is a bargain.

This is very good value for money. It is quite heavy but is to be expected. Our Henry hoover hose fitted nicely onto it

Well built but a touch heavy. Don't rely on the built in laser if you want straight cuts, I did a couple of times and the results were bad. It's probably easier to use a standard disc cutter but when connected to a vacuum cleaner the chaser does make a lot less mess.

Dust extractor doesn't work at all. Blew my fuse within first minute of use. Maybe good for clay walls?

Its does the job well. I use it with the rhodius 125mm 3 section wall chasing blade as this needs a powerful chaser and i didn't fancy buying a £££ hilti chaser. The laser didn't work on mine but it's a bit of a gimmick any way. You pull this one to chase which is good for ceiling to floor runs (light switches etc). The hoover attachment is straight and bit long so you have to any floor up chases upside down. Can't complain, especially for £100.

Used once and the motor burnt out

J'ai commandé l'article en premium, le colis était là le lendemain. Compte tenu du prix, le produit est très correct. Il rempli sa fonction principal. Pas facile à manier mais une rainureuse n'est jamais facile à manier (j'ai déjà utilisé une rainureuse de grande marque Berner). Le problème était plutôt sur les accessoires, pour ma part il manquait: Adaptateur de poussière, Clé à ergot, 2 balais en charbon, Burin, 2 piles!!!!!! J'ai contacter Amazon en mode chat et cela s'est très bien passé. Ils proposent: - de remplacer complètement le produit même si il est déjà utilisé. Le retour de ancien produit est complètement à leur charge (étiquette prépayée par Amazon reçue par email) - ou un remboursement partiel de 20% du prix du produit. Je trouve cela très satisfaisant et à l'écoute des clients. Merci.

PRO - l'ho provato su un muro di mattoni forati e non lo scanalatore ha fatto il suo dovere. Se si procede con la dovuta lentezza di taglio, non si hanno problemi. I dischi diamantati forniti in dotazione hanno tagliato il muro senza grandi difficoltà e il motore si è rivelato abbastanza potente da non subire particolari rallentamenti. - la presenza del laser, è un ottimo aiuto per mantenere la direzione di taglio. - lo strumento viene fornito completo di borsa da trasporto e con gli strumenti per la sostituzione dei dischi e il loro serraggio. - la polvere è stata abbastanza contenuta: l'attacco si incastra bene con il tubo dell'aspirapolvere. Tuttavia la capacità di limitare la polvere è data più dalla capacità di aspirazione e filtraggio dell'aspirapolvere. CONTRO - Se si considera il costo dello strumento direi che non ce ne sono. Gli scanalatori professionali hanno un costo di un ordine di grandezza superiore e andranno sicuramente meglio. Qui con meno di 140 € si ha un prodotto discreto, adatto ad un uso hobbistico, che fa il suo dovere magari impiegando un po' più di tempo. Sarebbe interessante sapere come funziona su mattoni pieni e cemento.

Für den Preis wirklich ein Top gerät. Bin mehr als zufrieden. Auch bei beton funktioniert das gerät zufriedenstellend.

Ottimo macchinario un po’ pensate ma fa benissimo il suo lavoro i dischi in dotazione rivisti e durevoli.
