I got tattooed on Thursday 25/5 and had my artist put this on afterwards. Per her instructions I took it off after 1 day, cleaned the tattoo, let it dry, and applied a fresh sheet and it seems to be healing great.I rounded off the corners to keep it from peeling. I did end up wasting 1 sheet because it curled up and stuck to itself. When I changed the first sheet, it was easy to take off with warm water and some patience.I plan to leave this on until Thursday, 1/6. So far the edges are mostly smooth and I can barely tell it's on. It's completely transparent as well, soni get to enjoy looking at my tattoo. I've had zero skin reactions and I have very sensitive skin. I will definitely use this again.

Great for the day, useless for sleeping in if you sweat or move at all it comes straight off.

Artist applied another brand of secondskin which was thicker, stiffer and lifted on the edge allowing a leak.I removed it and applied this and I much prefer it.The fact that it's so thin, combined with the rougher feel means that lightly rubbing your fingers over the tattoo very nicely soothes the itching without scratching.The size I ordered was too small, but being so thin, overlapping two layers is basically unnoticable.As for waterproof, it is... BUT I wouldn't recommend getting it submerged or in direct stream of the shower. The heat softens the adhesive and any water which seeps in under the sides will cause it to lift. This is a good thing when removing but is annoying before that time.So I'd recommend trying to keep it dry if you can, but don't worry if it gets splashed.

I was sceptical about second skin products, however after trying one and then using this. This is definitely better. Sticking it on takes a little bit of practice especially on larger pieces. One of the best pieces of advice I could give would be round off the corners because it stops them lifting as much and there’s no sharpness to it.The Matt finish on this specific product is a lot nicer than some of the harder more plasticky feeling other ones. I ordered the 4” and it’s a little too thin so next time I’ll order the 6” but customers are loving it!

I have quite a few friends with tattoos, and quite often they've looked to stuff like this to help with swelling or general discomfort. They've all said these are some good ones - the adhesion is alright, you get a good amount in each pack and they deliver quality aftercare.

I had my tattoo done on 10/06/23 and it was fine at first, but the plasma kept leaking out of the bottom and causing it not to stick. My advice is to let your tattoo do its weeping and then put it on, but stick to cling film after having it done for a few hours cos it will leak lol. But good stuff mostly
