FreshJet 3 Series, 15K BTU RV Rooftop Air Conditioner unit, White

Arrived damaged and unusable. Refused delivery. They sent replacement. Arrived damaged, the Top section of shroud ha 5 out of the 6 mounting tabs broken. Could not secure top, would blow off during travels. Accepted delivery with the aggreement a new top shroud would be sent. Ultimately they told me to order new shroud and submit reciept for refund. It was aggrevating but all was well in the end. The unit was bought to replace a 10 year old Dometic Briskaire 2. The Freshjet 3 was designed to be backward compatable with the Briskaire. The install was plug and play. Used existing Air box and thermostat. Had to remove the 6 Screws on trim and the 4 long mounting bolts. Make sure to remove the temp sensor in the old unit and insert it in a similar spot on new unit. Works great, much quieter. Upgraded from 13.5K BTU to 15K, no issues and better cooling. Planning on replacing our 2nd unit this summer.

4/2/26 Dometic Freshjet 3 series arrived undamaged and with the foam roof seal attached however please note . No new electrical control box is included and no inside trim/inside roof panel was included but I was able to reuse mine. Might not be the case with everyone. I replaced an older 2013 dometic unit with this one. Install was super easy and quick. If you can lift 70lbs over your head to put it on the camper roof. you can install it yourself like I did.(Tip) I Backed my truck up next to the camper and stood in the bed of the truck to put the new unit on the roof. Took less than 1hr 30min to swap it out. It brought the camper from 80F to 64 in less then 30 to 45min. Much quieter the the older unit for sure. As for Energy Efficiency I’m off grid and run everything off solar and battery’s. The unit pulled right at around 2000 watt's at startup then settled in at 1.6 to 1.7 watt’s continuously until the compressor shutoff. Then the fan continued to pull around 450watts. Performance was good all day and Airflow was decent

Terrible experience. Box arrived, but I soon found out the housing was Busted. Anazon was great and refunded my total amount. Dometic has a packaging issue, as I ended up buying one at a RV dealer (but I had them open it first), it was all busted up, too. After three tries, they finally found one in one piece. Until Dometic gets their packing fixed, I would buy it locally. But have them open the box before you pay.

This was a perfect fit and so easy to install. Recommend leaving in the box and unpack on the roof. I used an extension ladder and walked it up with a strap and helper pulling it up. Worked great. Super quiet it is as advertised!

Plug and play, ordered the non ducted shroud to go with it. Installed in a few hours, works great

I purchase this a/c to replace a domestic briskairII. The new unit was totally plug and play and inly took about 45 minutes to swap them out (with experienced help). This is a VERY quiet air conditioner. Reason for the 4 stars is due to the lack of protection in the box. There was some damage to the plastic casing but nothing major to prevent use. I contacted Amazon product support and within 10 minutes they granted me a reasonable partial refund of $137 and I don’t have to send a 70lb package back. Slight damage is worth the $250 less than any other sites online

I ordered this item to upgrade from my 22 year old Dometic Duo Therm. It was a simple swap. Line up the hole. Tighten the 4 set bolts evenly. Plug in 6 wire plug. Fresh Jet to the rescue. Enjoy. Highly recommended. Fast shipping. Got mine in 3 days. Best price around. Great customer service as well.

Wow! Great new a/c units, I purchased 2 and they both came in heavy weight crate cardboard boxes and were dropped off upside down but no damage. Quality was very good and they both work great. They installed directly into the original roof position. The value for the money was good as well. These units are super cool and we’re all happy.

Easy Install, Didn't have to replace my T-Stat or Control Box. Took maybe an hour to install & that included the removal of the old unit. It comes with the roof gasket.

Perfect fit

This unit is much quieter than the 8 year old Dometic that I had before. It's also lighter and apparently more efficient, I'm very happy. My old control box worked fine with this unit.
