Croydex AK142122 Shower Curtain C-Rings, Pack of 12, White, 17.5 x 9.5 x 0.5cm

I liked the light weight and snap fit but not the easy breakage. I received these on 28th May 2020 and it is now 17th. September and in that period I have lost three to snapping - all at the centre of the arc - when being removed for cleaning the curtain. If you look closely at the picture, you can see the breaks are very clean. This means the fibres of the plastic are not long-grained flexible and likely to be prone to easy breakage. If you wash your shower curtain fortnightly as I do, these are not going to give long service and I have now replaced mine with metal clips of a more suitable design. The other point which I would add is the snap closure is quite stiff on some of the rings which increases the likelihood of snapping as you exert a more sudden force to open them.For the record, I have no affiliation to any competitor of this company or any reason whatsoever to unfairly rate the product. I am being truthful and balanced in my review. These are just not up to the job. For comparison, my old PVC clips which these replaced were more than a decade old.

I'm happy with my purchase. Please note - this review is for the 'clear' rings. I see that some reviewers report problems with the 'chrome' version, and there may well be a problem with those.I've used these for a year. They do the job. They haven't broken, have never come off, slide smoothly, have never caused any problems.To hang the curtains, I pushed one end of the ring through a hole, and then I pushed the opening of the ring over the top of the shower curtain rail. It just fitted over the thin top of the rail, and once hanging, the opening of the ring faces the broad front of the curtain rail, so it can't fall off.I'm using them with these curtains.  InterDesign PVC-Free PEVA 3-Gauge Shower Curtain Liner, 183 x 183 cm - Clear They're a perfect match in size, shape, colour and number. There's exactly the same number of curtain rings in one pack as there are holes in one curtain. I bought two curtains and two packs of curtain rings, and this has worked out perfectly.

The rod size I use is just about the main size these rings expect and putting them on was a nightmare. You basically curve and brute force them on through the small opening. Do it carefully because they break incredibly easily. These are NOT chrome nor even a good plastic. Its cheap cheap cheap.Pull your curtain even a bit more than the average needed to just open or close and they break off.

Originally, Amazon themselves didn't have stock, so ordered via a MarketPlace seller & instead got a set of "Sanitary Ware's Window" ones. These were notably smaller than the dimension stated on the Croydex website - both in overall size & the gap for putting over a rail - &, whilst I obviously couldn't test them to destruction as they needed to be returned, the plastic felt brittle.(Amazon rejected an earlier review d.t. my linking to the manufacturer's website - but they're easy to find via a web search to see what the sizing should be... ...& that detail was key in describing to the seller how they clearly were not an equivalent item)By this time Amazon themselves had stock again, so ordered another set - this time receiving the Croydex ones - &, within the scheme of things (as I was buying white plastic C-Rings so didn't expect gold & jewels), these are both a significantly better product &, unless I suddenly decide to take up bathroom acrobatics, seem more than up to the job.Yeah, so if you get sent an alt brand then insist on a refund & wait for Amazon to have the genuine item in stock.

I purchased these from 'Classy Entertainment UK' at well under £2 including postage, and whilst I do agree with others that the description could be better in relation to these rings being made from 'hard wearing chrome' I still think that they are a very good value buy. Mine arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The rings themselves are made from plastic and are a good size (see my picture for scale), these are an ideal fit for our Spirella expandable shower curtain rail and glide along it nicely. I can't say how long the 'hard wearing chrome' finish will last as we've only had the rings up a few days but will be back with a review update should any issues arise.

This review is for the chrome disc type shower curtain hooks. I cant comment on reliability as I havent had them long enough. These little shower hooks look good. I didn't want the rings, I was after something a little different than the plastic rings supplied with the curtain. They are easy to fit, just pop through the curtain hole and hang them on the shower curtain pole...thats it, took me less that 2 minutes to do. I have one of those extending, spring loaded poles and these hooks fit fine. I am really pleased with how they look and at minimal cost, I would definately recommend them.

I bought the C ring hooks - they caught on the shower rail. I then bought the easy glide hooks with plastic balls, but if I had tried to put them on the rail they would've bent out of shape. 3rd time lucky - these rings are brilliant! They're quiet, easy to pop on the rail, easy to attach the shower curtain plus you really can't see them. Job done!!!

I was a little worried about these shower curtain hooks after reading some reviews. I'm glad I bought them & I do like them because they are not fancy. They are plastic but do what they're supposed to & do glide along the rail brilliantly. Also hold up the curtain well.
