Lovely little craft kit.
I bought 4 ,3 unicorn and one dinosaur. The grandchildren ranging between 5 and 9 all enjoyed making them together then using them as nightlights when they had a sleepover. Just one problem- they come with 2 sets of light (1 plain white one coloured and one set of plain white ones wouldn’t work). Just make sure the tree is in the middle of the base as the dome won’t fit on the base straight when it is glued to the double sided base tape and is difficult to move once stuck down.

Great fun
My 7 year old daughter loved making this and then using it at night only issue is lid falls off you need to glue it on with your own strong glue

Pretty light, and fun to make
The media could not be loaded. Everything is included in the box. To make this plastic dome on wood base light. Instructions where quick and easy to follow visuals, and very little writing. Enjoyable and quick to put together with the kids. The pink crystal stones really make a difference. Had a few left over, which we will add with clear glue the the bottom of the tree later. The double sided sticker is very sticky and good at holding everything. The stones got in the wood channel groove a little, whilst trying to get as many on to stick as possible. But I was able to flick them out again with a pin. What the instructions don’t tell you; is the ideal place to put the battery switch button. I found it best, placing tree in the middle, with rainbow behind it. As I was following the original picture. And because the rainbow is plain one side, I hid the battery button box behind it. Just a bit of luck that the switch button is so close to the plastic dome, we don’t have to lift the dome up to press the switch. We just nudge the dome to press up against the button and it activates the lights. You can still remove the dome to change the batteries. Plus they also included a spare set of lights in the box, and both arrived with batteries already in them. Overall this is a really kit to make and keep. Looks lovely lit up at night in a girls bedroom. I hope they start making even bigger sets of these. As they are a good idea, and give younger children fond memories to look back on when they helped make it.

Cute unicorn ornament/nightlight that a child can build themselves and keep
This is a sweet little set for a child who unicorns. Basically, you get all the necessary bits and pieces to make a unicorn-themed ornament. The child can have fun making it and then enjoy displaying it and even use it as a nightlight, if they want.In the set you get a ‘bell jar’ type dome of clear acrylic and a circular wooden base for it to stand on; the wooden base has a groove cut in it to hold the dome more securely. There is disc of double-sided tape to put in the centre of the wooden base so, when you arrange the figures, they will stay in place. The figures included are three small unicorns, a house, a mushroom and a rainbow, plus a large tree with pink ‘blossom’. There’s a bag of pink plastic ‘confetti’ to sprinkle around the scene you create. Finally, there are two short strings of fairy lights to arrange around the scene. These fairy LED lights have small battery units with a switch. If you arrange the lights but have the end running under the dome so the switch is outside, then you can turn the lights on and off, either just for the display or, as I’ve said, to use as a nightlight. It’s a really cute little set and any child who likes unicorns works like it - though it is very predominantly pink so probably more aimed at little girls than boys!
