Galt Toys, Magic Picture Pad - Animals, Surprise Reveal Drawing Pad, Ages 3 Years Plus

This is an excellent idea and the pages really do come to life with bright vivid colours so different from the thin muddy colours you get with most water paint books. I have bought both of the Magic Pictures series and both have had minor problems - the surface of some of the pictures have arrived scratched as if scored by something sharp This does not detract too much from the rich colour achieved but is disappointing. Also poor is the water pen - from both packs the flow of water was very uneven and I had to open up the outlet hole with a meat skewer to get it to run properly. In fact my grandchildren preferred to use a paint brush and a cup water to complete the picture but this would not of course be possible if the pads are to be used when travelling.

All though the book was good kids liked it I did not get next day delivery wich I was sopose to have my delivery was on a Sunday not the Saturday wich I needed but that's why 3 stars or it would of been 5

Very happy grandchildren

For 3+ age. I bought for my 18 month old who loves colouring but this was too advanced for her! Wasn’t worth spending so much money when she has no clue what’s going on with the magic pictures appearing!

This was quite hard for my child to do. The paper quality wasn't great and even when I scratched the picture off it's wasn't so easy to colour in. Overall ok but I wouldn't buy it again.

Fab little stocking filler, although it's quite a small book and within about half hour my daughter had revealed all the pics but she then coloured them in so had a bit of entertainment from it :)

Bought as a 'prize' to award to the winner of a game at my 4 year old's birthday: Big hit! I loved doing these books when I was young, as does my son now! Price is unbeatable.
