I am looking at buying this router. I currently have BT FTTP 900. Can I replace the BT smart hub 2 with this router, as I don't want to use both?

You may ask its manufacturer if the router feature can be disabled, so you can use the Hydra Pro 6E as the DHCP server or the main router.

Can you set custom dns or link your vpn to this router?

Yes, you can change your router's DNS settings. The MR7500 also allows VPN tunnels using IPSec, L2TP, and PPTP protocols to pass through the router.

Can this router be used is ap mode and can you use imesh in ap mode

Yes, David. However, access point mode turns off some router features. These include Parental Controls, Priority, custom internal IP addresses, and other advanced features.

Does this router have Apple HomeKit integration?
