My ironing board will not hang on this but the rack does exactly what I wanted- the iron can be put away in my cupboard under the stairs even if it's hot. The name speaks for the quality and this feels sturdy. I have just finished drilling the holes to fix this and know that it is well and truly secure on the wall. I have yet to do any ironing in my new home, but at least the iron is in a good place.

This is probably one of the most useful and best items I have bought on Amazon in a while. It was easy to put up and stores my iron and its's cord perfectly. Good value for money. I especially like the rubberised heat plate on it which means although I need to let my iron cool down a bit you can actually put it straight away if you like as soon as you have finished ironing. Great design, great product at a reasonable price.

I'd say that the Brabantia Iron store is probably the best Iron store I've come across after looking around the shops and searching the web.The iron (Tefal) sits securely with no danger of it falling out (even after the door has been slammed) and the whole product feels very rigid and well made.If you haven't guessed already I have actually fixed mine to the back of a door rather than a wall (ultimate space saver), however, if you are thinking of purchasing this product and fixing it to a door do account for what style of door you have and where the screws will go.i.e. mine is a standard size 4 panel door and I found the centre section of the door too narrow for the fixing screws (they fix horizontally and would penetrate either side) but I liked the product and was reluctant to return it so I made a stencil of the product out of mdf, fixed the mdf to the door using vertical fixings then fixed the iron store to the mdf with the horizontal fixings.Looks good and works well, and no more iron and ironing board getting in the way all the time. Job Done(If you have a standard 5 panel door and intend on hanging the ironing board as well I would say that the upper cross section would be too low as a fixing point so you would probably need to improvise as well)

Excellent build quality. Due to space restrictions it was not possible for me to to wall-mount the unit for both ironing board and iron ( without restricting access to my central heating boiler in an enclosed cupboard) so I just use the iron holder.

I could not give this anything less than 5 stars as there is nothing wrong with it. We purchased this back in 2013 and it's been on the wall ever since. We iron a few clothes daily, we do not really have the time to spend ironing for a few hours. So we iron what we need as we go along. Because of that, the Iron store has been used a lot with regards to putting the iron in and folding the cable away to getting the iron out.The quality of the plastic is great, it's thick with hardly if any movement. It's best put against a wall rather than a door, just saves the iron from flailing about when hte door is opened or closed. A drill, a wall bit and a screw bit is all you need to get this put up. It should take you no more than about 10 minutes, this includes the time to measure the iron board, and mark out the holes positions.Make sure you measure the length of the iron board when folded rather than standing up. As when folded the legs tend to stick out past the iron board top. So that’s a top tip! It may save you a couple of holes in a near perfect wall. Once you have this measured, you need to calculate how far you want this off the floor.Once up, it’s great. Sturdy as anything! The iron holder is a little large, but I guess that is just to accommodate any size iron. It safe as once the iron is in place, the metal bars keep it from sliding out. That and the little slant which tilts the iron towards the wall. The power cord can be tied around the base of the holder which helps keep everything neat and away from any children who might decide to pull a hanging cable. Good idea there Brabantia!Well worth the money. It’s been such a big help keeping the room organised.

Does exactly as you’d expect. Provides a neat and tidy solution for your iron and ironing board. Iron storage is slightly larger than my iron so there’s definitely room for bigger irons and overall it’s very easy to fit to the wall.

Poor design. No facility for cord storage. Fixing to wall inadequate.

Even though my iron does not fit perfectly into this it does sit in it steadily and the cord wraps around the bit for that purpose and in doing so it keeps it out the way, no more iron lying about or taking up cupboard space. My iron board fits on the hooks perfectly. Really neat & space saving. In saying that if the perfect fit for the iron would bother you i suggest you measure your iron base against the product measurements first. My iron is a steam iron so has a bulkier base. However, i put it up myself and it holds everything its required to and saves me space. I'm glad i bought it.

Not only will it hold your iron safely, but also the iron board/table. Very sturdy, and it comes with everything you need to place correctly. You'll need a drill thought
