Newest version of this is much improved!
I purchased one of these as I loved the idea of being able to fold it for storage, but have a lot of drying space in a small area. I loved the design, and ordered a second one. Now, a word of advice. Please read the whole review. It’s like I’m reviewing two different items, so bear with me because in a way I am! Our first one was great, although a little unstable. It had fallen over and I found I had to make sure I ‘balanced’ the washing. The legs, which folded in for storage, would fold in by themselves as I moved the airer after loading it up. Still, it served its purpose and was the best option I’d found for our needs. Despite it not being perfect, I got a second one. First thought when I opened it was ‘this has changed’, and it has. The main body of the airer remains the same, however the base has had a redesign! The feet are slightly longer, meaning the airer is far more stable. They’re also far more rigid now. There is no flex in the legs (which I noticed with the old airer if you didn’t balance it, it would lean and one side would lift off the floor), and they are more tightly fitted - so now the legs don’t fold in as you move the airer. So far, I must say that the new version is streets ahead of the older one. Anyone mentioning stability issues may have had the older version, or perhaps didn’t ensure all the rods were fully located (we constructed the airer and put the feet on last on both occasions so we could use a rubber mallet to ensure everything was correctly located). I can only think that these two reasons are likely to be the cause of stability issues, as I have no problems at all with the newer version. Now I just have to think of a good excuse to replace my older version!

Wish I had one years ago!
I have been trying to find ways to spend less time on clothes laundry and this has been one of the main answers! The other hopeful thing is to put a dry towel in the dryer to speed up the drying time and make the clothes really dry! My family find it strange that I am so excited about owning this new clothes horse, but really it has been life changing!! Because so many clothes fits on, I can now do all the families clothes washing in one day instead of over the whole week and having washing hanging around always! The house is now tidier, I have more time to get on with my work. I also take the clothes horse outside on sunny and windy days and if it starts to rain simply wheel it in - no need to take it all off the washing line! Because you can hang many shirts on hangers and hang them off the side arms, no more ironing is needed if you take out the shirts straight away from the washing machine and put on a slow spin! I almost bought a combine clothes horse/dryer but after seeing the reviews at how loud they are, I now just put our small quiet electric fan heater by the clothes and it's dry really quickly! It was quite difficult to put together because you need some brute force and unless you push the poles right in to the bottom, it will be very wobbly. My husband had to hang his whole weight off them and use all his strength! So probably 4 stars for that and the fact that it isn't super sturdy in some places, but 5 stars for the over all!

Nice Product and Massive!
I bought this in September 2023 to replace a very old and worn out air drying rack. I chose this one based off of the reviews. I've been using it consistently and I'm not disappointed. It was very easy to put together and the instruction manual while basic is easy to understand. It holds a lot of washing as it not only has rails but fold out side hangers for shirts as well. The airer is absolutely huge too! I mean really tall (it towers over me and I'm 5ft7) and you can easily get a full load on it. It's very easy to fold away though and when not in use it's hardly noticeable. The build quality is good but you do have to make sure you balance your washing otherwise the feet tend to fold in a little bit. It hasn't collapsed thankfully but it is something to be aware of. I had to remove the wheels to fix the issue (fine for me as I never had any intention of moving the rack around but for those wishing to move the rack from place to place it is worth keeping it in mind) and to make it feel more robust. I would recommend and will buy another one in the summer for the garden as I imagine this will work superbly outside in warm weather.

pleased
am very pleased with this. though it feels a tad flimsy, it actually holds clothes well and lots of them, i had it full from top to bottom, hangers as well and so really pleased with it coping for what i want it for. it is on castors so can push it along the floor, its very lightweight. the legs just push inwards to store. each section can stay down or be put up individually and very easily. i put towels over the top and over the whole s sections of the bottle rails as i wasn't sure if it could hold the weight of big heavy towels on individual rails. If i needed a new one in the future than i would definately buy the same again

Flimsy.
Took about an hour to steadily put together. Instructions are not great. They are obsessed with telling you to push and twist the bars in. More clear instructions would be better. Feels a bit shaky but if you spread the washing sensibly I think it will be fine. Lots of capacity. After having the basic ones for years I do feel pleased with it now it has its first wash on. It says capacity for 15kg and that’s about two washes which I think it could hold. Put the heavier items at the bottom and maybe weight the bottom. I’ve used it a few times now and it’s good but the hanger’s start to slip out and it needs a heavy brick on the bottom so it doesn’t tip over. It’s very movable so I can bring it in and out depending on the weather It’s not very strong and after having for a little while the bars are bending a wheel has broken off. A shame because if it was more solid in its parts it would be good.

Highly recommended
Really impressed with the size and quality of the product. It was a little difficult to put together as worth mentioning its all in bits, not assembled. Plenty of hanging space for a full load and dries very well as spaced out. Highly recommended

Cet étendoir est parfait. Il ne prend pas beaucoup de place, se range facilement. Il a une belle surface pour étendre les linges.

It looks more sturdy in the pictures than it really is! Many moving parts to put together.

Super soddisfatto!
