This is a great pair of binoculars. I rated them a little lower on the lightweight scale. However, I don't really think that is bad. They are a little heavier than some cheaper binoculars. But that, I believe, means that it has good solid glass in it, as well as well constructed. The picture is bright and clear and they are very easy to focus.I have paid a lot more for comparable brand-name binoculars. These binoculars will be in my truck which is in the mountains most of the time.

I'm no expert, and I've never had much luck with telescopes or binoculars ... but my family loves watching birds, so I wanted a pair of binoculars to give everyone a chance at a closer look at our feathered guests. This set doesn't seem like it's anything an expert birdwatcher would use in the field, but it's very nice for our purposes. Easy to handle, easy to focus.

I brought these binoculars to the 100 yard range to evaluate them with my buddies. At 100 yards, I could not get a clear image of the target. My buddies tried them as well and none of use could get a clear image at 100 yards. One of my buddies commented that he could not get the eyepieces close enough together to get a single image. I didn't have that problem. At closer range (<50 yards) I could get a reasonably sharp image but beyond that, the image was fuzzy. The binoculars say multi-coated and there is a coating visible on the lens but it doesn't seem like a high quality coating to me because contrast is low.I would not recommend these binoculars at all. All of my other binoculars and monoculars from cheap to expensive far outperform these.

A fairly cheap set binoculars made in China. They are metal construction, so heavy overall. Case and straps are cheap materials.I think the optics are clear, but I could never get both eyes to align, so it was always double vision. Each eyepiece can adjust and the adjustments were easy and nice.The large end lens caps flop down and do not detach - I don't know if this is good or bad. The other downside is that the barrels are quite wide, so I couldn't get them close enough together to fit my fairly narrow eyes.Overall, I would not buy and would pay a bit more for a pocketable set of high quality Bushnells or similar.

Pretty large and heavy for 12 X 50 in my opinion. The magnify fine at the stated rate and the focus works perfectly. My gripe is the neck strap is too narrow, has no neck pad (heavier than my Nikon) and the strap ends are NOT quick connect (like you see on backpacks and water bottle straps). If I go bird watching these will be a pain after about 20 minutes of walking. They should redesign the attachment for snap-in/out and make it wider with a neck pad. The case is fabric and NOT padded.

I’ve never used professional binoculars so I can only compare these to the under $100.00 pairs that I have owned. I actually like these a lot. They are easy to adjust, I could see well, clear and far. They are not super light but they are not heavy. These will be nice to take on a trip, they are manageable for everyone in the family.

They feel and work like a heavy duty set of binoculars. Rubber coated and the focus adjustments are nice and tight. Very clear viewing on par with more expensive brands. Some wrote that the neck strap was too thin. In this package the strap is thicker around the neck but tapers into a thinner strap which works just fine. Came with case, strap and a cleaning clothe.

These are nice mid-grade 12x50 binoculars for hunting, camping, beach or sports. Optics seemed to be good for the price. Not these are not at the high-end models like Nikon or Swarovski, but you didn't expect that either. For the money they offer good value for your money. Easy rubber coating barrel gripping.
