Mandoline Slicer - Vegetable Slicer 5 in 1 Multi-function Food Slicer Grater Chopper Fruit and Cheese Cutter with 5 Interchangeable Blades and Safety Food Holder (Red)

Not sure why I didn't buy one of these sooner. Makes grating and slicing a breeze and is very versatile; you can either hold it vertical or place it on the dish that collects underneath. It is nice and compact, easy for storage. The unit itself is its own storage for the other blades when not in use which is very handy. Comes with a separate hand peeler too. Overall i'm very pleased with this product and great for the price.

The slicer is not a bad product at first when using although after days of using it i noticed that the slicing was not efficient as it could be. Although what i must say that the idea of having key like pieces to just change the method of slicing is very clever to have as it means less washing as other slicers have big pieces that have to be washed which just occupies space on the dishwasher.In terms of cutting it does is well but can require effort at times although its not that bad overall in ny opinion.The storage container is very effecient as it means you can store once having chopped them.I hope my review is helpful.

This veg slicer is really practical. As you can see from my images it comes in a simple carton box with all of the details and images from the product. This set comes with the base to store the veg after cutting, the lid with the space to place one of the blades, 6 different stainless steel blades, a veg holder and a peeler with a ceramic edge. All of this in a combination of white and green apple. It is very easy to ensamble and unensamble. you get to place the interchangeable clades on the side to store nicely but it only fits 4 leaving always one free which could get lost. The fifth one gets to stay put in the lid. The blades have a plastic protuberance at the end that aids them to get lock in their place and therefore secure. The base of the box where the veg fall into has 4 little rubber pads that helps to avoid the base to slide away when chopping the veg. You also get a couple extra in case of any issues. The top holder to slide the veg without risking your hand is comfortable for round vegs like a potato but when I tried a carrot it was not comfortable and it came out. I that case was easier just to do with my hand. The peeler is perfect works as it supposed to do. Overall good product with many functions to help you cook. Easy to clean and to store.

Was really excited to receive this...Thought would save me a lot of time when meal prepping..Arrived today, set it up and proceeded to grate a carrot...caught on my fingers ripping 2 huge chunks skin. Blood everywhere! The device is now back in the box, will go back to my old system. In my eyes it’s extremely dangerous! The blades are very very sharp! This item is not advised for a clumsy person like myself! If you plan on buying this use with great care!!

Before I purchased this i tried a more well known branded mandolin and it was I kid you not, unfit for purpose. It couldn't actually create a thin slice. One side would be thick and the other very thin. Absolutely useless. This, at a fraction of the price. Slices perfectly. Is better designed. Feels much better quality. ALSO INCLUDES A PEELER! Blew my mind they can create and sell this for the price. Fantastic product.

The blades are nice and sharp (care is needed when washing) but it seems to waste food as when slicing carrots, cabbage etc a lot is left in the safety holder. Also where the blades are stored is prone to collecting debris from sliced items. However the 1.5mm blade does work well and food does get sliced nice and thinky

Needs somewhere to attach the thing that grips the veg (No idea what to call it) to grip onto the mandolin as the last one I owned got lost, rendering the mandolin, useless.Other than this, I love that all the attachments slot into this mandolin making it neat, tidy and easy. Good product to buy. Deserves it's 5 stars.

I'm really pleased with this mandolin slicer. I purchased this to replace an old one I've had for a number of years that finally gave up the ghost.There are a few things I really prefer about this one, firstly the bottom part that collects the veg. My old one sat on top of a bowl or dish or cutting board and wasn't nearly as convenient as this. Secondly I like blade storage. I had to keep the box for my old one to keep all the bits together and it took up too much room in the cupboard. This one is more space efficient.in terms of the actually cutting, I get so much use out of a mandolin slicer, use it often for things like scalloped potatoes, quickly slicing things for stir fry etc. It's such a useful tool and this one works well and is good and sharp. Very pleased so far.
