AL ANEEQ Fakhrul Oudh - Oud for Men - Wood Scent Spray Arabic Oud Perfume for Men Fragrance (100ml Eau de Parfum)

I've now bought this item a number of times and gifted it to friends and family too. The scent is wonderful, very long lasting and gets better as it warms on your skin. Literally two or three quick squirts last the whole day and I can even smell it on the clothes the next day. It is quite 'masculine' with a woody, musky aroma but could also be worn by a lady as it's not overpowering. I've also bought a number of the other fragrances made by this company and they're all really really nice and very long lasting. My partner loves the smell and she has also began to wear some of the other fragrances. The packaging is subtle but classy and it is definately worth the price point. I've bought more well known fragrances over the years and none match this for longevity, aroma and value.

So, I've recently discovered the amazing Ness of these Arabic EDPs, and a few of the niche French ones like Sangado, but this...this...is not to be taken lightly. I have worn it to work to cover the smell of sweat since I walk an average of 21k for 8 hours so you can imagine the sweat levels...well: This scent lasts for days on clothes. And if you are in a rush and have a tendency to be trigger happy on the spraying like I can, then be warned; it can be overbearing and intoxicating. It is lovely when you give 3 or 4 sprays, on the arms (clothed or bare), neck and chest. One response from a young lady in her 20's was "yumm, smells like man", and others notice the spicy aromatic scent. I'm sure it is the incense which provides the stronger notes in this, with a tiny bit of oud, and in the first 5 or 6 hours you'll catch the vanilla, cinammon or whatever else is in it but the mix is so nice. So, so nice (in moderation). The lingering smell is incense and oud and like one of the other reviewers commented, there is a smokiness to it. As one of the reviews said, this smell is unlike any other I've tried, even among the Arabic scents. The smokiness in particular is what I give my 5 star ratings for, as it stands out from the crowd and distinguishes itself as a Frangrant shark among a shark infested pool of fragrance. This is almost definitely an evening scent and in my opinion, one to wear on a date. If you want to give that smoky, mysterious, rich, masculine, but smooth, spicy message to your woman; wear this. I will be re purchasing for sure

Firstly the visual aspect is spot on, very attractive bottle design which speaks authenticity, the bottle is quite weighty and the gold plating adds that value to it. 5/5 The scent itself however is what is really important. DISCLAIMER : If you are looking for an ‘oudy’ scent without alteration such as ‘Oud Malaki’ Or ‘Oud Muattaq’ then this is NOT the one you want to purchase. With that being said the scent itself is a beautiful smokey vanilla very nicely covering the deep Oud scent that is subtle but very noticeable. It is a sweet yet quite masculine scent that is very intriguing and will have you sniffing yourself. The longevity is still being tested however it will vary from different skin types and clothes materials, it’s 5 hours in and still noticeable. I noticed that it is very important to let the perfume sit for a while to truly shape it’s beautiful form and YOU DO NOT need more than 3 sprays at max as this is quite overpowering in its top notes (Saffron, Spicy, Nutmeg). The scent MIGHT come across sometimes as “burnt vanilla” which I think the company could work on to give a more “smokey” effect to it, however you could bypass this issue by not over-spraying and I have personally not really found this to be an issue. It’s definitely not a perfume you want to bathe yourself in just a couple of sprays will do it! PS : This does not smell like any other perfume nor does it seem to be replicating another perfume. I personally own a collection of different Tom Ford scents, and they are not alike, Fakhrul definitely don’t smell cheap and I see it competing with designer perfume, the closest Tom Ford to Fakhrul could be Tom Ford “Tobacco Vanille” however they are still very different but I understand why some see them being similar. Overall it’s a wonderful smell with good longevity - 4/5. Value For money - this is a no brainer, I have spent over £200 on perfumes, and when they still have the slight upper hand (most of it is also completely psychologically) Fakhrul is offering a high class product in a quarter of the price you pay for designer perfumes so this is indefinitely worth every penny. 5/5

Nice fragrance for price and pretty packaging. I love Oudh and whilst never possible to get true scent to original as irs so expensive, this one is still ok.

Not sure if it was my particular bottle, but the fragrance doesn't last that long, although it is a lovely fragrance.

I have got my son this several times now. Everyone and I mean everyone passes comments on it, what you wearing, what's it called, where do I get it from? It's the most beautiful smell, sweet but not sickly. You can keep all your designer names, this everytime, and my son is all about the name. Obviously we don't all like the same kind of smells. But my nephew who as start wearing it calls it his babe magnet lol

I purchased this before Christmas for myself as I love oud guilty limited edition. It’s expensive and I had run out. I know there are many types of oud and I would have to try first before purchasing usually. I chose this after reading the reviews, looking what oils where infused in it, and the fact it was shaped elegantly like my oud guilty bottle. I was not disappointed, in fact I was more than happy, the fragrance is long lasting, people comment often on the smell being very nice. It lifts your mood and looks way more expensive. In fact this box it came in was more elegant than my guilty oud box. It’s also very heavy. I am just about to purchase another for my daughters birthday as she’s uses mine. If your unsure like I was, I can only tell the truth about the positive comments I get and how I feel about it. Well worth the money. I hope they don’t put their price due to good reviews. They would sell far more at this price, as it’s affordable for special occasions, especially lately

Item leaked in the box, the stringy bit on neck was soaked in bottle content. This caused the cap to stick and when I applied some force to remove the lid, it snapped the glass bottle neck!! Luckily I didn’t injure myself.
