Brabantia Large Chopping Board - Mint

Extremely happy with this item fair play to Brabantia they really nailed it on this design. I know people will probably think I am a little crazy to be excited by a chopping board, however, after trying to put up with a board that constantly moves around when I am chopping for ages now, it was time to get myself a stable reliable board that doesn't move all over the place when chopping.I found exactly that! The Board doesn't move at all when I am chopping or slicing no matter what it is I might be doing and believe me I have tried lots of different things to put this through its paces and it aced the lot.Not only does it have a good grip on the worktop, but you can tell as soon as you take out of the packaging how well built and sturdy this is. I expect this to last me ages before it needs replacing which means the small price I paid was a sound investment.Great addition to my Kitchen Accessories so pleased !! Thanks, Brabantia

I received this yesterday and haven't used it yet, so not sure how it will survive sharp knives, but it appears sturdy, thick enough, the size is OK (could be a tiny bit bigger, but I think that most people will find it's fine) and it has come through unscathed from its first dunking in the dishwasher. Shame about the colour, though: it is billed at "mint" (I detest green as a colour, but needs must as there weren't any other suitably large and thick plastic chopping boards on offer) but it is really more like "teal"... A wider choice of colours would be welcome, Brabantia!

This is a great size, quality and the colour is gorgeous. I would agree with a previous reviewer, it is teal rather than mint, however that is not a problem for me as I prefer teal (and bought it after reading the reviewer saying it was that colour as not a fan of mint colour)

Great chopping board. Dropped a star since the handle is a bit flimsy when washing it. It bends a bit and I wish the handle was more stiff.

Nice chopping board ...looks robust ,,Good size ,,Delivery next day .Only gave it four stars as the colour is not as stated ,,It states MINT ,,,This is definitely not mint ,,It’s Teal ( blue).Would have given 5* if the description was TEAL ..NOT AS MINT THEN FIND OUT ITS A SHADE OF BLUE.Don’t like being misled .

I bought this as I have a large, main chopping board made of oak. It's not really recommended to use this for chopping meat, as wood is a nightmare for trapping germs.This is made of plastic and seems nice and durable as you'd expect from a brand like Brabantia. It has soft-rubber grip handle and edge. It's easy to wash, although does tend to cling to grease (hence one less star) it also has a groove to help meat juices drain away from the main board slightly. Could be used for multi purposes, not just meat.Good value board.

Great product. But shocking delivery. Through it over gate, said on order it was handed to resident which wasnt true! Only just found it this morning on gravel on the drive. Box not properly secure. There is a parcel box outside front door..what's going on Amazon!!???😒. Luckily package not damaged

Fast delivery. Good packaging. The board is in a pretty colour. It's dishwasher safe which is exactly what I was looking for to handle meat. I recently purchased a set of high-end knives and wanted a board that would go easy on the blades. It already have a few scratches but that's because the knives I use are extremely sharp. This board has a softer surface in comparison to some other hard plastic boards and the thin sheets of plastic that are being used as chopping mats, which is exactly what I wanted. Yes, it does mean more ridges and scratches but I'd rather have that than a hard chopping board which is harsh on knife blades and blunts them faster.
