I love these. Perfectly matches the image you have in your head from your childhood.
Brilliantly captures the spirit of the cartoon. I am extremely happy with my Bumblebee and Spike;-)

Bumblebee at last
I had the original generation 1 version which was awesome in car mode but somewhat simple and underwhelming in robot mode.Watch any of the original cartoons and look at this model in robot mode and you will not be disappointed. Car mode is more accurate to real life than the cartoon, which is perhaps a good thing, as it varied a bit in the original series.I've knocked off a Star as the colour is slightly out - more orangey yellow than the cartoon. Everything else seems good quality though, so a good addition to the collection.

This is a Knock off advertised as a Takara Tomy Mp-21
I received one of your 'Bumble' figures for x,as this year from my girlfriend and it is 100% a KO. The box is states the name of the character as 'Bumble' rather than 'Bumble Bee' and also it is not 'Takara Tomy' anyone that looks at this can see it's not legit. Secondly the collectors card is so badly printed and out alignment compared to the official masterpiece figures.Thirdly like the other review states parts (especially on the Daniel figure) do not tab in which is not the case on the MP-21 models I have seen to be official friends have and the same is true of certain transformations aspects of the main figure. It's appalling that when someone buys a figure like this as a gift for a collector and it turns out to be a KO after stating that it is legit I a trust worthy site like t you should be allowed to continue masquerading your wares as official and charging what you do.

Bad painting and lack of details
This masterpiece is way too small and lacks details in its design. Its wrists are left open when in robot mode and leave a blank space which is not very good looking, it could have been closed somehow. My item came with bad painting in the other robot face so I can't use it, there is a white paint blotch lower than the left eye which makes it look like a troll, and the nose is scratched as well (see the picture).Transformation is very easy and its mobility is good as well, but the whole figure should have been a couple of inches higher. It looks like a miniature compared to other car masterpieces such as Prowl or Wheeljack. It's very good to have Bumblebee in your collection, but don't expect it to be your best masterpiece: any other car masterpieces look better than this one. For this quality in the figure I would rather pay a lower price. Don't start your masterpiece collection with this one!

Another nice figure from the masterpiece range, but with some glaring issues.
Masterpiece Bumblebee is one of the range of high-quality modern action figures based on the early Transformers toys of the 1980's, and gives you the same standards that fans of the masterpiece range have come to expect.Transforming from a classic VW Beetle to robot form, Bumblebee stands approximately 4" tall and has an amazing degree are articulation meaning that he can be arranged in an almost limitless number of poses. Visually the figure is a very close approximation of his animated and comic-book counterpart in either mode. The figure comes equipped with a blaster pistol and three different interchangeable faces (a 'smiling' face, a 'talking' face, and a 'visored' face reminiscent of his earliest toy). Bumblebee is probably one of the easier and more intuitive of the masterpiece range to transform. Also included is a figure of Daniel Witwicky wearing the exo-suit that he donned during the Transformers animated movie and throughout most of seasons 3 and 4 of the original animated series. Like Bumblebee, Daniel comes with a full degree of articulation. His suit can be posed with his blasters out (as were used in the animated movie to save his father Spike), and Daniel can also transform into his buggy mode (as also depicted in the movie). The figures are not without their faults however. Firstly, whilst Bumblebees robot mode is in proportion to how you would expect it to be when compared to other bigger Autobots, the result of this is that his vehicle mode appears to be proportionately smaller than it should be when compared to other Autobots alternate modes. The Daniel figure lacks any kind of painted detail on his face and is significantly more difficult to transform than Bumblebee is. Daniels legs have a tendency to pop out of their joints when trying to transform him, his head can come off in your hand during transformation, and several pegs do not clip into their corresponding holes as well as they should do, meaning that transforming Daniel is a real labour. In addition, Bumblebees wing mirrors are two separate pieces that must be clips on, are very small, fragile and easily lost. As always, the masterpiece range is prohibitively expensive and there are few of these figures that are objectively worth the expenditure - they are very much luxury 'big boys toys'.So overall another very nice figure from the masterpiece range, although one that has some significant issues - primarily with the Daniel figure.
